From my conversation with the ESF office, they do not do address checking.

As to interview with strangers, my little one had to interview with kids from the am class when she was in pm class since her name ranked first from her class. You just can't plan everything.

Yes, you are right. However, with Tung Chung Campus starts to operate in fall this year, I doubt the chance is higher than this year...

Yes my impression is CWB is not easy to get in. The only ones easier to get in are those in HK side except Kennedy and quarry bay which are also very over subscribed.

I think so too but I don't have any property in HK Island. My hubby has another property at Ho Man Tin but I think KJS is also over-subscribed.

The word ‘residential’ address would imply that the child currently resides at that address.

Sick of reading comments from cheating parents.

I won't pass moral judgement on whether "borrowing" address is cheating, but ESF is serious about checking and they do need proof in the form of property ownership or tenancy documents.

On a more practical note, you may have to arrange your own transport because the school's buses may not serve your real residential address.

Does that means once I applied to an ESF in my catchment area, should I move during the time my child is in school, will they transfer my child to another ESF in my new catchment? Or am I not allow to move homes during the time my child is in school?

You can transfer your kids to another Esf school if you want

If you need to move, you should update your proof of property ownership or tenancy documents again to the school. I think they will tell you when you need to transfer to another school.
