想問KETfs的成績係點分高分/合格/唔合格? 例如Starter/Mover/Flyer果D係以盾計分, 咁KET 又係點計?

分五級：
Pass with Distinction （90分以上）
Pass with Merit （85至89分）
合格 （70至84分）
不合格，但係仍達Level A1水平（45至69分）
不合格（44分或者以下）

考完Flyers之後可以選擇考KET或者PET，KET程度只係深Flyers少少，但係PET就深好多。 ...
循序漸進好，小朋友仲細，佢對英文好有興趣，問考完Flyers有咩考，想佢慢慢試下

我小朋友之前係考完FLYER, 但我比較過KET同PET, 驚即刻報PET會冒險 (唔合格), 所以試左KET先. 感覺KETfs 好似深過KET 小小, 所以最後考左KETfs. 遲吓再研究PET.
咁知唔知考PET使唔使一定要KETfs合格先可以考?

無關係。學生從未考過 Flyers 及 KET 都可以直接報 PET 或難度更高的劍橋英文試。

哪之前只考過STARTER, 現在可以直接KET ma?
無限制的。不過請先考慮報考的需要及目的，還有孩子是否已接近此考試程度。

Cambridge English: Key, also known as the Key English Test (KET), is the lowest level General English exam in the Cambridge English range. It shows that you can communicate in basic English in everyday situations.
Cambridge English: Key for Schools (KETfS) is at the same level as Cambridge English: Key and leads to exactly the same internationally accepted certificate. The only difference is that the exam content is targeted at the interests and experiences of school children.

阿女考完KET，我見阿女的網上成績表寫著：

這是因為各級劍橋英文試在2015年1月統一改用了一個新設計的 Cambridge English Scale。

現時各級劍橋英文試(不包括YLE)的成績都統一使用 Cambridge English Scale http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/exams/cambridge-english-scale/ 及可對應 CEFR 及 ielts。
根據確實分數, FCE Grade A 可對應 ielts 6.5 至 7.0。如果DSE同 ielts 有正式對應的話，嗰D Mami 嘅睇法或者成立。

Here you can see Cambridge English Scale in details : http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/exams/cambridge-english-scale/
FCE Grade A means score 180 - 190 which maps to ielts 6.5 - 7.0 only.
On the FCE certificate, it states that 'Performance at Grade A demonstrates an ability at level 2* and Council of Europe Level C1.' Actually it has only reached the lower half of C1, only the upper half of C1 maps to ielts 7.5 and only C2 may map to ielts 8.0 or above.

剛留意到考試局曾將2012年DSE 英文科成績與 IELTS 做過一次 benchmarking 。
'International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (2012)
The HKEAA has conducted a benchmarking study to compare the standards between the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and the 2012 HKDSE English Language Examination.
The tables below show the equivalent of level 2 to level 5** in HKDSE with respect to IELTS band scores.The results were developed based on the stratified samples of candidates taking the 2012 HKDSE.
HKDSE English Language Subject Level Overall IELTS Band Score Equivalent Range
5**7.51 – 7.77
5*7.16 – 7.32
5 6.81 – 6.99
4 6.31 – 6.51
3 5.48 – 5.68
2 4.79 – 5.07'

根據 Cambridge English Scale 及以上的參考資料，因為 FCE Grade A 最高也只對應 IELTS 7.0 而 DSE 5**(2012年成績)卻對應 IELTS 7.51 或以上，所以見不到 FCE Grade A 如何能對應 DSE 5** (除非考試局有更新的成績對應)。
