我以前係Monkey Tree返工的。這樣說吧，phonics妳應該係睇緊初班 beginner? 我唔可以話一定好但係視乎小朋友。初班其實暑假讀比起平時讀有自己好處。如果想知多啲，pm吧。

I'm not sure if things have changed. A couple years back, MT's phonics program was based on the Schoolhouse method, which focused heavily on the sounds. Understanding the meaning of the words was secondary (there were other courses for that) and some of the words chosen in the materials, for the sake of the sounds, were conceptually beyond a kindergarten kid's level imo. For phonics classes to be meaningful and interesting, I strongly believe the student should have a least basic English skills and be able to understand the words. If you must push ahead with phonics, I'd suggest a program that follows either Jolly or Letterland methods. This is not to discredit MT; I've been a loyal parent for 5 years now. I just think their other programs are more worthwhile than their phonics program.

我都想知，我小朋友幼稚園，佢有個 Summer little monkeys, 話形式好似平日chat room class, 有冇家長小朋友試過，ok嗎？
