Want to know more about this school, know 1/4 are Indian students, 1/4 Korean, 1/4 foreigners, 1/4 local.... Can anyone share some info. about this school?
As coming will have interview, thx a lot

I heard different stories, one kid is very happy there and he loves school, the other one told me the teachers are fierce and scream at kids？I want to know more about it too.

其實間間英基小學都大同小異，學制一樣，老師校長偶有內部升遷，有人走又有新人黎，升學途徑又一樣。Academic因為冇考試冇得比較但每間小學Year 456有join ISA 但似乎成绩年年間間都差唔多。KJS優點係人人都比一樣學費但佢地個Campus係新。內部細節唔知因為我唔係KJS家長，但依家英基搅緊KLC(Kowloon Learning Campus) project 同其他們KGV feeder schools一齊加強合作，資源共享，KJS近水楼台有D優勢，最近同KGV搅buddy program捉D year 7同Year 4做buddy吹下水。结論係如果你真心想讀IS，呢個係唔錯嘅選擇。

但要留意的是kjs是ESF primary school裡面報名人數最多的一間，若沒有priority，連面試機會亦未必有。

想提一提大家，KJS School Fair 裡面的所有booth都不是免費的。每一樣也要收費。每年既School Fair 係學校賺錢項目之一！大家唔好抱著免費嘉年華既心態去，亦唔好當Open Day 去。

In some classes, there are more indians than chinese. Very few people from other ethnic group.In my niece's class, there are probably three quarter indians. They are all from very westernised families. Do not "smell" indian at all, if that is one of your concerns.

My kid is in P1 this year. There are around 5 indians in her class from the class picture. i guess the abandant of Cat 1 Cat 2 removed the advantage from Indians and brought in more Hong Kong people.

Honestly i feel the P1 teacher is so-so, but my kid loves her.

Yes, sjs catchment very big!! But the campus quite old...
But many peoples like sjs more, is it because teacher caring, pros?

You summarised what I was told. What I heard is one kid said teachers are so so and he switched school finally and the other kid's daddy just said the kid loves school anyway so he didn't bother about the teachers.

Switched to other ESF school since the family move to other location afterwards

Oh, that is what I asking now, if studying in Kowloon side ESF, if need to move to Hong Kong side or Shatin, easy can switch ? Or also need like general application then waiting queue?

其實申請轉校，有位可以轉，但也要看看孩子想唔想轉，因為已有朋友仔。
同埋，真係留意返，每間 ESF 也不同，各有特色。
所以有 D 人搬了，但未必想轉校。

Yes, 除非係呢個原因囉，因為仲有個細跟尾，最好就兩個一齊讀同一間嘛

Most of the items need to buy tokens to play but it's not expensive, min is $5. If you just get inside and have a walk and watch the student's talent show, it's free. The fun fair will last until 4:30. You can come at any time before 4:30.

Ahem, they may not be Indains but Indian Hongkongers (think 喬寶寶), if you're more interested in a "中国人的國際學校", I believe some parents here would be happy to recommend one to you :)

An ESF with more chinese? I would say SJS and QBS. Both have majority chinese students.

我最近先聽完KJS入學簡介會,你放心，現場所見嘅家長有大部分係南亞種族人士和華人，歐美人士數手指都唔過十個人。

EK太多喜歡用這平台爭鬥單打，卻不願甚至冇心分享資訊的人。
我問過Yr 1的家長，今年Yr 1佢個班约三份之一為印度及南亞，比前幾年一半的比例少好多。今年admission briefing 我覺得可能仲少一D。當然，我冇逐個數，

我係今年year1 家長, 我個班6 out of 30 are Indians/S. Asian. 其他ethnics 好似得幾個, 大部分香港人。

我個女係靜同怕醜嗰啲, 但超級鐘意返學, 好鐘意class teacher. 早排parents teachers consultation 時teacher 話佢有actively participate in class, raise hands to answer questions etc. I'm happy with the school and teachers.

我聽朋友（KJS用家）講KJS的Indian 比其他ESF 小學多，學生們的數學都較優異，相反，SJS華人學生較多，學生之間都會彼此比較、競爭。that's why她當日為女兒選了KJS.
