i am a fan of Montessori and would like to enrol my son to IZmS. Lucky enough that we received an observation interview and have done it this week. However, I wonder if any parents here to share info like how competitive to get a spot in foundation grade? Do they offer accept, waiting, and reject letter as interview result? What type of kids they are looking for? Any if you also went there for observation recently?

can any of you share what the campus in South Horizon like? Any outdoor area? is it spacious? thanks!

No outdoor area for the school, but there's a playground belongs to the estate, can spend some time to play there after school.
More spacious than another (very famous) kindergarten in south horizon, I guess mostly because of Montessori, the methodology .. Things r relatively neat and tidy..

It's already two weeks time but still receive nothing. Wonder if we have failed or not.

I called the school and they said they have sent out acceptance letters. And mostly candidates who have siblings got offer first.
Sigh! Any chance later?!

there are 15 or 16 kids only in foundation classroom. 1 classroom for foundation at SH and there are 3 time slots, so the number of spots are quite limited.
Our child didn't even get a chance to interview as she was considered a small B so they allowed us to roll over our application to Casa and we got accepted this year.
Out of the interviews we did, I think this was one of the most relaxed compared to the more local schools. I think the key is to demonstrate the parents' familiarity and dedication to Montessori as we had no priority status - our kid has been going to a Montessori playgroup for more than a year so that was helpful. I think just wait a bit and if not you can try again for Casa.
