Applied for Abacus, did anyone get it also?

Email say there's 181 applicants with 96 places, so everyone will get play visit

Yes I got the invitation for the play visit ...

They arrange visit for everyone this year

My session will be on 18 Jan 2016. How about you ?

But I am sure that my kid is not in the priority list

For ur info, I have an informal survey for WKS ESF, seems that the kids who had offers usually interviewed in the first and second batch, the latter interviews would be in the active waiting. But I am not sure if it the same as Abacus.

Yes you are right for WKS, 想當年我小朋友十二月interview後兩天已經打電話比Offer,有啲小朋友一月先interview

You have foreign passport is an advantage

Dont have foreign passport here ...

Not sure when will be their first interview date ... They only stated that they will have interviews in Jan and Feb ... We are in the same week !

I'm wondering whether Abacus better or Woodland though.... My girl's currently in playgroup in Woodlands and she enjoys it there, teachers are caring too

Every school is different, WKS interview on the same day, but still divide into different sessions. What I meant is the earlier sessions would have offer while the latter sessions would have active waiting

It is for K1 - Abascus campus

we have no priority. Not even in their PG - we are informed that interviews will be held in January and February 2016.

Just called Tsing Yi campus, the play visit invitation will be sent out by email next week or before x'mas! The staff said all applicants will receive the email!

They told me in a couple of weeks during interview today, and that my number is not that high up or low, have some chance, not not great! Hahaha

I don't think ESF have bilingual class ?

That is how the ESF application system works, you will be alotted a number (diff from application number), and the number represents your 'priority' in the system. She didn't disclose my exact number but she said not that high and there's a lot of siblings and staff priority.....getting a place in ESF highly depends on your luck!

Esf interviewed all applicants last year. And in admission briefing session, they shared with attendants the lottery system as described by canteen. So such system is still working.
