Nursery只有半日，k1k2可選全日或半日。半日學費連雜費$72000年。

I think WP only K1 has 19 students, N maximum is 14 students only.

We attended our play session on 31 Oct and get the offer letter on 9 Nov.
My kid didn't attend any playgroup of anfield and she has no priority at all.
The play session was just a playgroup setting so actually we dont know why my kid is accepted.
But we are very much delighted to get the offer from anfield.

Thanks for your reply! I wondering why I still haven't got any letter fm them coz my boy is attending the playgroup there! I was thinking maybe my boy is so naughty so they don offer him a place!

but then I call them to double chk, they have sent out the letter to a wrong address!

so, I guess we will be in the same class!

u know, when they sent the invitation letter for play session to my address, i found the kid name onthe letter ( for our address) was another kid. They mixed up the addresss of two kid !!

A very good KG! But actually I like WP campus more! My elder girl was study there for nursery last year! But whampao is too far fm our home Lu!

My son received an offer from the whampao campus this week too. We knew he was accepted right after the interview but we have been thinking over it again and again and still think it may be a little bit too far away for my son to travel on a school bus to whampao ( we live in Mei Foo and I guess with a few drop offs it would take like 40-50 minutes for the bus ride) also it would just be slightly too much with the school fees plus bus fare plus a nanny after school. We love the school especially after the play session, it's a very painful decision but we may have to let it go. I'm just very worried it's not the right decision!!

You may consider choosing another nursery school which is closer to you and apply anfield k1 next year. If you state the reason clearly to withdraw the offer, it won't negatively impact to K1 application.

They gave us so little time to consider! We have also been to a few interviews with other schools (not as Int'l as Anfield) and the results not in yet....so I'm so worried I'm letting this go too early 😫

yes we need to make our decision just in one week.
My daughter get the offer ,still have one more interview to go.
We still go for anfield because it is directly promoted to K and its a good school.
Traffic is a problem too but if that a good school ,there must be a solution.

I'm just gonna go with my gut feelings I think and put him in this school, hopefully in around 10 months time he is okay to sit in a school bus by himself!
I have never thought it's such a tough decision to choose a school for my son!

At that time I also think it was too early to make the decision, I still got other school interviews to take. But as time went on, I realised that I liked Anfield the best in my heart and actually became very "Hea" in other school interviews and at the end, I even defaulted some interviews. Finally we got other offers but we still stuck with Anfield which was the first offer.

Are you sure the schoolbus is that tough? Anfield schoolbus broke up into many routes (and hence more expensive) with few students and they said usually most routes will not take more than 30min, I think 40min is the maximum. Have you checked with the schoolbus company yet? I checked, they got separate routes to Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi, and a specific one just go to Mei Fu.

We just sent in the acceptance form this morning. Well now I kinda hope o won't get any other offers that may make me regret it!
I did talk to the school bus company and their bus nanny. They said for Mei foo it may take up to an hour to travel to whampao because it will be the first stop, then they go to Tsuen Wan then highway back to Whampao, very weird! 😫 but they do reroute every term depending the number of students signed up for the service.

Let me share my experience to you. My son studied in WP nursery class last year. It is a really good school, very caring and my son was so happy. Very good English environment, providing a good training to the kids to adopt in IS mode. Many kids from our year got admitted to ESF K1 this year, including my son. My son still miss Anfield so much and keep asking me going back to Anfield to play. Most of the teachers and aunties could recognise my son and called his name out. My son joined Anfield family since toddlerobtics, then 5 days playgroup. Bcos he was well known with the environment, his performance in the play visit was quite good. The playgroup helped a lot. He was the first batch to get offer, the process to get in was very smooth, even in the Year of Dragon.

The kln tong campus and wp campus are running separately . Therefore , transferring from one to another is not possible .

My husband asked the question before we sent in the acceptance form but yeah he got the same vibe that they are very different. However I'm not sure whether they are simply different in admin or different in ownership etc?

My son will start 插班 PM Pre k in January 2016（they called junior k1 , only has PM session) and can directly get promoted to k1 in sep 2016 in kln tong campus. But not yet know am or pm K1 in sep 2016.

Anyone know how many ppl apply for their K1 each year and how they access the kids performance during play session ? Or they give offer in terms of first come first serve?

Do you like Anfield or ESF more after experiencing both? I am also wondering if we should switch to ESF K after Pre-K at Anfield, for better chance to get into ESF primary. It seems ESF primary is more established and IB is more modern than British curriculum. We are joining Anfield Pre-K next year

Personally I like anfield more, as it is a small class approach, children are well being taken care of. But getting into ESF kindy will definitely train up the kids to be more independent, since many students per class, teacher can't take care everyone, so the kids have to take care themselves, it's a good training as well, really depends on what level of caring you expect from school. Since my kid is a boy, so I don't really mind he needs more independent approach.
