I had the interview last sat.... very simple, only got one on one interview, around 6 kids in the same interview room, teacher will pick the items randomly, e.g. give you banana, orange and apple, and ask u to name one of them, and give apple to mami, orange to teacher, give you crayon to choose the colour the teacher told u and draw freely on paper, pick the book under teacher's instruction, pt to eyes ears mouth nose, etc.
will ask parents some questions like who look after ur kid, what your kids like etc.

Simple doesn't mean it is easy hahaha, just no circle time, no warm up, just straightly go to one on one interview.. haha

one or both dol ok.... my hubby didn't go so i went there with my gal... and my friends both went with their kids..... =)

my gal is 21 months...... she can recognize colour only when she meets the teachers she likes...... aiiiiii..... so in some interviews, she can answered the colour question straight away, but in some other interviews, she pretends don't know and gave the wrong colours to teachers..... haha

I said the interview format was simple, not saying the interivew was easy..... my gal didn't give much response to the teacher too.... as the teacher hasn't got much interaction with her and no smiling.....

and they usually will ask you RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW.... if fruits, will ask you BANANA, APPLE and ORANGE,

My son ia 16months old just done the interview this morning. Teacher only asked him to choose the specific fruit and pass to papa and mama. Play some toys etc. The whole interview finished in 5 mins....

完全無問我地家長任何問題....係咪即係衰左？

actually the school more emphasis on the background of the parents, like job and where they live. Of course they want the students will go to its own primary which need to pay

According to the notice , yes, only successful applicants will receive letters so not a good arrangement

所以, 太貴族嘅學校我都唔會報，費事同依啲家長打交道. 估唔到KCS依嘅算叫平民嘅學校都撞到依啲人

KCS interview. arrangement is always bad.

But they have good language environment (both Putonghua and English) and v. good chance to get in its KCS primary school
