近日聽過幾個升學講座，有提到GSE (AL) 比DSE容易拿到好成績，多得這裏師兄提供了有用的資料，列表如下:

DSE 同 GCE 拿A 同 5 的%, 以Biology 為例,拿5或以上有18.7%,但GCE 有27.1%拿A或以上

也有人認為高拿A /5率不代表容易了，是不可靠的。究竟應該怎去分析這數據呢？謝謝

For some subjects, like Eng and Math, the results of DSE and GCE A level cannot be directly compared as there is a significant difference in academic level.

For HK universities' admission, hot courses will look at UMS marks in addition to no. of A*s in GCE A level.
For top UK universities, they look for 5s in 3 electives rather than the 4 core subjects of DSE.

我同意GCE AL不難，但由呢個表下定論就有問題，因為AL好似香港舊高中課咁，學生先考完GCSE(即以前HKCEE)，有一定成績至可以上AL，所以考AL的人數少於GCSE人數，因此如果以GCSE人數為基數，數字又會點呢？

Maths, Phy, Chem， GCE 攞A較 DSE 攞5易

我記得當年HKU AL有同學科pure maths肥咗，GCE AL都攞A！

早幾天去了問agent 查詢，他的意見是有些讀完中四去讀G12是不成功的，不建議。我嘗試列出以下表，單比較GCSE 及GCE 的人數

若小女讀完DSE 中四，A level 讀Maths / Further Maths / Econ & Phy, 數學是香港人的強項，以學習年份計算，另兩科都比大多數本地生多一年，唯一是Phy比他們讀少一年，我這想法正確嗎？
