Is St Francis academically very demanding with lots of homework and dictations / tests/ exams?

What's the approx. time to complete the homework for lower grades on a daily basis?

How frequent is the dictation? Is it 2 tests / 2 exams per school year?

Is English subject taught by NET teacher?

Is Chinese subject taught by Native Putonghua teacher?

Is the teaching method in general very traditional?

功課量唔多，要幾耐完成功課取決於小朋友的態度。每年3測3考。冇NET教英文亦都唔係內地老師教普通話。非常傳統教育方式。

Thanks for sharing. 3 tests 3 exams seems quite difficult and demanding. I am surprised that the homework is not that much. Are you satisfied with St Francis in general? Thanks.

其實三測三考，有辣有唔辣。好既係每次考試相對其他兩測兩考學校既範圍小d。唔好既係你會覺得個turbo由10月份開始開咗係唔停得，嗰頭考完，好快又測，嗰個測完，又考試了。可以能咁，學校超早放暑假，6月頭就考完放暑假(只間中返一，兩日對卷)，比你休息返夠本。

以下係 P3 （2014-2015 學年）學生某一日的功課，8 樣有 2 樣改正、2 樣通知，即當日有 4 樣功課，每樣需時由幾分鐘至半個鐘內可完成。

English
1. File CW(Reading) + HW (Writing)
2. Correct GP P.22-24
3. 5/11 Day2 Dict My Pals P.44-45
Maths
4. P3_ehw_cycle6_1415
5. 作 ch12 及改ch11
GS
6. Return GS Ass for Studying
7. Correct GS WB P.7
French
8. Submition on 1st nov (1) cahier d'exercises P.4 (2) Revision iPad P.55-57

呢 d 功課量係比較正常，當然亦有個別日子（做完功課再溫書）會忙到 11 點先有得訓，但過去三年呢 d 極端 case 總共只係試過10次、8次。

是否多功課？樓主自行判斷。

同意樓上家長講：個turbo由10月份開始開咗係唔停得。

但個 Turbo 唔係為做每日的家課而開。

Thanks for the info everyone. From my opinion, it's quite a lot of homework and tests / exams. My son is a "small B" and cannot sit still, so for him would be very difficult. Let's see if he gets any acceptances. If not, then will repeat K3 instead to become a "big B".

應該有兩位NET及三位母語普通話老師，普通話肯定全部是母語老師教。
