Anyone who has or know children who attend DC? Any comments about this school? We are thinking to live in Tung Chung.

I used to live in Tung Chung and still sorely miss it as the environment and community there is amazing. My son was in a kindergarten at DB North so we traveled everyday with the DC & DBIS kids on the bus. To be honest I find the DBIS kids to be better behaved, but as we all know both schools are not very academic compared with other IS on the main islands.

I don't have kids studying in either school though so it's not fair for me to comment much. I know parents who put their kids in Kowloon Junior instead but the travel is far and we know the demographics is different. TC is under the catchment area for KGV for secondary school, so that's a plus.

Anyhow, we have since then moved out of TC to find better schools for our child, and he is very happy with his current school on the Hong Kong Island, although we had a take a hit on the living condition in comparison to Tung Chung.
