CCKG & Mrs Fielding; 就如曼聨 & 費 sir. 沒有費sir 的 MU 情況有如沒有Mrs Fielding 的 CCKG. 費sir 現在去教升班馬又未必能打響名堂，就如Mrs Fielding @ St Hilary. 米怪比喻太爛!

當日我地見五點四十分，接近最後了，在waiting room 等候時有十個八個小朋友，交信登記面試時，見到個箱有好大疊面試信，那天應該見了很多小朋友

我地考nursery, 校長見小朋友，校監坐旁邊見家長，mrs fielding 在房外做candy lady , 派糖呀！

睇怕這次只岀咗 Nursery (K1) & Lower Class (K2) offers. 真是未聽過 reject or waiting. 可能等這一批回復後再發信。

聽落都okay ! 每間都商業化啦！除非你去學券學校。
我本人覺得可接受。有人讀CCKG都考唔到小學啦！必竟都唔係全靠學校啦！父母關係丶人事關係丶old boys or old girls 丶有電識人好過識字、或者家境後。
背後的一齊無人可想像到。
好似我哋呢啲⋯⋯冇人事關係，有冇錢，有冇親戚幫到手。所謂哩的人士無論你去到邊一間小學都要靠自己。最大因素⋯⋯我認為是運數再加上實力！
有關係的更加要谷得勁啲！

現在的神校要選十項全能的-文武雙全。只靠學校是不足夠的。

I also know about that .. I believe no matter how.. If your kid is the top one .. He or she will not be afraid of ...

If you are referring to commercial then York is the same in this case. Still the top ones still get into good schools. As the Chinese said "真金不怕紅爐火"

I guess parents need to work hard too. I like school that care about 德育 and strong at reading. I guess St Hillary will be a happy school for kids. We the parents will need to work on extra outside school on music or sport.

Just that outside organizations such as speech competition also charging 250-350 per poem.  I will say these organization also called none profit making organization.  You have a choice not to apply.  My kids only go to schools speech festival .. Or other cheaper and more reputable ones.  Based on my past experiences, all these will not really get you to your dream schools but is good platform to let your kids to gain experiences or to build self confident.

I would say things are getting more expensive each year.  Even with school fees.  Looking to HK Schools Speech and Music Association, they also increase prices for enrollment each year.  Some private schools fees hike every year.

If it is too commercial we alway have the option not to enroll and those certificates may not definitely get you any schools.  We can alway back to basic just to drill with academic.

Just my sharing ... Hope not to show I am bias towards the kinder. I am sitting on the fence to view this matter.

I will say "business orientated" is not a bad things, especially when the school can really help yours kid to get a seat in your dream school.

Just like the DSS train school LOGOS, their "business orientated" design off IBDP course let their student get good scores and more easy to get a seat in University, this is good!

For a new school, nothing is guaranteed, everything are expectations, wishes or visions.

It depends on whether you believe in "track records" or believe in "visions".

Yes I believe in track records.  Everyone has his or her first time to gain experience.  Pods and Harts too!  I believe they wont want to let the school down and would work double hard for achieving their new track records.

We have experienced joining new kinder two years ago.  Yes, I am a risk taker you can say.  No one knows unless you are their students.

Primary schools have their track records from building it thru many years.  Experiences and learning curves take time to achieve.  My kids too.

I guess what I shall do... is to trust myself rather the school.  I know my track records better.  Not the school.  If the school has it.. then of course!  is a bonus.
Still... school will not provide you everything you need.  They only do part of it.  We (the parents) will be the one to mold our kids.  I want my kids go to a happy school + good at conduct and behaved.  Learning happily to stimulate more of their thoughts.

就係咁更不應憧憬，某些小學不喜歡有人經常借名搏宣傳/聯想式宣傳的。
