Same as UK. Your have to apply through UCAS and take UKCAT.

Tkx Jenny, but my son told me Unverisities in Ireland are not included in their school list.

Ireland has its own central application system similar to UCAS and they have their own aptitude test as well. You have to apply through them directly.
