囝囝現在英國讀A LEVEL,原本想選醫科, 因placement 難找,競爭亦很大,所以考慮澳洲, 可分享澳洲醫科大學的入學要求及讀醫科情況

澳州医藥分家，藥劑賺多過医生，如回港註冊比英更難...........................................................................................全澳洲一共有19所大學設有醫科，其中過半接受持有學士學位人士申請，統稱為「畢業生入學」( Graduate Entry )。這批只收持有學士學位學員的醫學院，其中僅得11所歡迎海外生申請。
‘Graduate Entry’ 一詞來自美國，全美126所認可醫科大學，早已一律採取只收學士 ( 以理科最佳 ) 申請人，近年愈來愈多英國和澳洲醫學院亦相繼效尤。換言之，學員首先要修讀一個三至四年的本科學位，然後像申請碩士課程一樣，申請設有「畢業生入學」的醫科大學，獲得取錄後，仍得修讀四年，才可完成醫科課程，整整七、八年才訓練出一個可以懸壺濟世的西醫。

愛爾蘭兩所醫學院Royal College of Surgeon及Dublin大學，入學要求可能較其他英國大學鬆一點，值得嘗試。

It is pointless to argue which medical school is 'best'. They all offer the same qualification with the same prospect of being a doctor. UNSW may be better known in HK because it is situated in Sydney and more HK students prefer to study there. In the medical field, Monash and Adelaide are equally well respected if not more! At the end of the day, with only 4 medical schools to choose from and each accepting only a small number of HK students, getting into any one of them should be considered a major achievement!

University of Queensland medicine course is post-graduate entry. You may be accepted provisionally at high school entry point but will still need to complete a bachelors degree before starting the medicine course proper.
There are many more Australian medical schools that do post graduate entry like Queensland but I think there are only 4 that still do high school entry.

我相信佢 Best 嘅意思係,如果成績未去到好優異(係都喺香港讀喇)，又要大學有相當知名度，又想喺Sydney or Mel 大城市，UNSW 係最理想選擇啫！

多間大學都收中學畢業的醫學課程。

例如 University of Newcastle/ the University of New England 也有中學升讀的 Bachelor of Medicine. 聽講澳州很多醫學院半班學生是亞州人/印度人。朋友見過UQ醫學院的畢業照，半班學生是亞州人。

澳州醫學院的入學要求不是太高，上述的課程只要求 ATAR/ 94.3，約頂尖的6%學生。 香港醫學院收的是頂尖的1%學生，有些課程的要求 更低至 ATAR/ 90 (Monash, Adelaide, Charles Darwin)。朋友多年前有個學生，在香港英中讀書時感吃力，轉到澳州升學，後來在澳州讀了醫科。

醫科暫時就未聽過, 例如 SydU, UNSW, 但藥劑就時有聽聞, 實習位唔夠, 多數以金字塔式, 你升唔到班你咪要中途轉科。揾嘢做專業介別好D, 你睇吓移民計分就知, 一般文職揾工唔容易, 失業率上年應該超過7%.

如果係讀醫,收得你讀就唔理你國籍, 你升到班咪有得實習。 澳洲有反歧視法, 在公立及官方機構工作管得幾嚴。

咁係要有質量保証都合理, 易入易出咁咪變學店, 本地及海外專業學會都唔承認你嘅學歷。去澳洲當係比個機會自已, 首先係有規模嘅大學, 佢又肯收你入較心儀嘅科目, 地點是氣候怡人及安全的城市, 相對合理嘅學費, 其他咪肯自已能否掌握這機會。

澳州的教育是一門賺錢的產業。澳州人口有23M，是香港的3倍，但醫科生學位有3600個(是香港的8.5倍)，醫科生的實習位是不足夠，澳州本土學生較海外學生有優先權

條例上你啱！ 如何真係想讀醫，報讀之前要打聽清楚該校 intern 位是否足夠，就我所知UNSW 和SydU medicine 在過去一年未有placement 不足 嘅問題, 相信 intern缺位問題一定無英國咁嚴重。
