Hong Kong Strings Scholarship for Stringed Instruments

1 Set Piece

2 Own Choice (1): with piano accompaniment

3 Own Choice (2): with piano accompaniment

Preliminary Round:
Competitors are required to play the set piece first, then the first own choice.
A maximum of five competitors will be selected to enter the Final. However, if competitor(s) cannot perform up to a sufficiently high standard, the adjudicators may decide to select fewer than five competitors to compete in the Final or even cancel the Final.

Time limit: 25 minutes (including preparation time and breaks in between)

Final Round:
Competitors are required to play all THREE pieces.

Time limit: 30 minutes (including preparation time and breaks in between)
