有2位持加拿大护照的小朋友想来香港读2年国际小学5年级和6年级，不知道哪间学校可以申请插班？特别备注：小朋友没有居留证，有知道的大大帮忙指点一下，万分感谢！

無居留權根本不可以留港讀書，如果個個無居留權都可以直接到香港讀書，大陸過億人衝落黎讀啦

小孩必須要有 "受養人身份"簽證 (dependent visa) 才可入讀任何香港學校（包括私立或國際學校）。http://www.immd.gov.hk/hks/faq/hk-visas.html

Such question is unbelievable. I don't think there is any civilised place that would allow a kid to go to a proper school without proper visa or residence permit

你是用甚麼身份在香港居住？
重點是父母必須要合法在香港居住，例如父母有工作簽証，仔女自然有 dependent visa，可以在香港居住和讀書。
香港是不會給中小學學生發 student visa。

I think she doesn't understand HK is different from other countries like US , UK... That allow student to study abroad by paying higher school fee with student visa.

LPC應該可以因為有好多不同國藉學生由外國來.Harrows唔知

为何希望到香港来呢？香港的家长都希望把孩子送外国去，只是沒办法照顧才留这儿谂国際学校！

You can try asking universities whether you can apply for a student visa for yourself if you study a diploma or similar here. Try Open University?

國內的國際學校，九成比香港的好。
但可能樓主目標是來香港住，咁介紹國內的未必合佢意。

The US is serious about immigration control, and the number of illegal immigrants is small compared to their population so they can afford to be generous.

HK's immigration control is funny, it is strict to all countries except one ( we all know which one), and to be generous in this situation is literally suicidal.
