10月女，已在維記讀K1,再已超大女成功得到KV 九月K1，target local primary school. 擔心龍年小學競爭大，不知要不要重讀K1.

我是維記 K1 vs KV K1, 掙扎好耐，最後都放棄 KV。個人覺得維記語言環境比較好。龍年小一競爭太大，實在是看小朋友當時的表現和彩數。

I gave up KV 2 years ago
I think KV put emphasis on reciting whereas VIC stress the learning process
Though reciting is inevitable in HK education, phonics learnt in Vic can actually facilitate reading, writing and spelling.
I found my daughter could read many Chinese book in both putonghua and Cantonese

My kid who graduated from Kentville was never asked to recite anything other than scripts for inter-class performance.

Sad truth and main point here is that traditional schools tend to favour 大B！

If you target traditional school s, ie not those that emphasize the learning process, then you'd better be a 大B, regardless of which kindergarten you prefer for K1.

But of course, there.is always a second chance for 细B to retry traditional DSS or private schools. bear in mind you can only join gevernment central allocation ONCE.

Some ppl I know didnt repeat in kindergarten years but instead retry P1 entrance interviews and exams whilst studying P1. That is they studied one year P1 in a primary school and then got into.their dream.school to repeat P1.

識2個人K1也考其他K2插班，因為包括讀讀下又話唔夠深太淺，沒課程大綱等，這點要考慮是不是自己杯茶
