According to A Level result, Oundle is better

看番海外留學的Dulwich Oundle Warwick Wellington 在發表13-11-22 有講0undle校風，另Epsom 生同亞細住homestay —起，亞細話學生勤力及乖。。。。

Oundle 各方面都比 Epsom 優勝，所以要考入並不容易，入學考試於1月份，比其他學校遲，science 試卷並不易，要早作準備。相反，Epsom 只要考 UKiset 便可。

與其參考網上三言兩語，不如實地做 School Visit, 亦對取錄有正面幫助。

成績雖不是以上神級，但也是中上，小chinese,学費較相宜

我看了很多學校，　但都無咩ＩＤＥＡ。　　ＡＧＥＮＴ　ＨＩＧＨＬＹ　ＲＥＣＯＭＭＥＮＤ　ＥＰＳＯＭ。

It depends a lot on the target bracket of schools you are looking for. If you are looking for the very very top schools, then schools like St Paul, Winchester, Westminster, and the likes will be your target.

Thanks. Frankly I am not target to very very top school, only mid-top to top school is ideal. Priority it has good academic background / result and less Chinese.

I didn't rely to much on the ranking as agent told me that is not accurate.

My target schools now are Epsom, Shrewsbury, Bromsgrove, Tonbridge, Downside School

There are a lot more schools that you can consider. Some examples include King's Canterbury, Abington, Brighton, Wellington, Caterham, Oundle (as stated in the topic), and so on. See if you want to talk to some more agents as different agents may have different lists of recommended schools.

It might be a good idea to look at the league tables just to get a rough idea of what schools are in similar league table ranking as your target schools. This is a good reference to start with even though you are not relying on them.

King's Canterbury, Abingdon, Brighton, Caterham and Oundle are all ranked about or within 100 during the past ten years. Tonbridge is ranked top 20 during the past ten years. Shrewsbury, Bromsgrove and Epsom are all ranked beyond from 200 to 400.

Moneywise, I will not spend 400K a year to study low-ranked private independent schools given the wide choice. I always believe that the high rank schools have own methods to train their students to become top notch students with excellent university destinations.

同意你的見解, 你所提的RANKED 100以內的都是好學校, 但可惜以我所知那些都是很多香港人或中國人讀, 可能亦因為這原因, 這些學校的公開試成績很好, 排名自然亦較高

我見過好多例子, 很多時駛了很多錢讓小朋友出外流學, 可惜香港 / 中國人太多, 他們很容易會走在一起玩, 回港後英文不見得特別流利. 雖然我知這是很看小朋友的本身性格, 但如果可以我還是想找一間ACADEMIC GOOD 而又少中國人的學校.

I think that state schools have much less Chinese students than the expensive independent schools.

排名top 100 的不一定Chinese 多的，以上所説的Abingdon and Caterham 是較多中國香港學生，亦是靠中國香港學生爬上排行榜。
Oundle and King's Canterbury 中國香港學生的比例較低，是非常傳統的英式學校。

Oundle 同Cantrrbury 唔易考入，每級得4至5個Chinese , 講環境Kings Canterbury靚Oundle好多。Agency話二間都是很好的co-edu svhool

Kings Canterbury校舍在大教堂(遊客區)後面, 平日都人來人往好熱鬧, 亦相對較雜. 運動場不是在校舍及宿舍附近, 要行大約20-30分鐘. 上次school visit時見到大約10個香港/華人學生, 全校華人數目就不太清楚, 因為忘記了問admission head.

King's Canterbury是一間非常好的傳統英國中學,識幾個港生都由King's Canterbury入了劍橋,但King's Canterbury課程要求學生全面發展,不只是只谷學生成績的學校,識得一個連Cochester Royal Grammar School收了都唔讀入了Kings Canterbury就讀,不過Kings近年排名由2009年的37跌到過百.

Canterbury Cathedral 是在 King's campus 內

平曰 Canterbury cathedral 門外是比較熱鬧，但進入參觀的人數不太多，以歐洲面孔為主,這或許與宗教背景有關。cathedral 跟 King's 主樓相隔了一片大草地，環境一點也不複雜。平日上課都在主campus 內，只是上體育課或進行賽事才往體育中心。

King's Canterbury 跟 Oundle, Rugby 等都具千年歷史以上，校舍難免有些散落，不及百年歷史的新校集中。

此外，King's 的Chinese (by race) 中有部份是在英國本地土生土長的。

請問體育中心是否距離campus20至30分鐘? 校舍內設備如何? 因為當日只參觀了宿舍， music center, 校園內四處看，不能進入校舍內部。

Sports centre 離 main campus mint yard gate 約 15 min 步程
至於設備那卻沒有特別留意，應該不會太差吧
