下午再打電話去九龍塘樂基問，職員說waiting list都好長，未call。再打去新校問，職員說要在22/5前交cheque留位，強調兩間學校係獨立既，如九龍塘wait 到，Harts都唔會退錢。

其實我都打算轉過去，本身的學校已沒有留位，只博preschool會call waiting,但知機會不大，故想遲點才交cheque,今天將打電話去問，職員說遲些答覆我。

晤知佢係咪樂基啲Eng Supervisor, 但肯定係舊校啲老師升過來做校長(好似轉左?因為係真光聽talk時唔係佢),仲係interview過我個囡(係佢認得我個囡先,我哋初初都唔認得佢). 其實去完個open day 反而為我打左強心針,因好多老師尤其course coordinator都係樂基轉過來,d老師好experienced且好有心同肯解答我d問題, 佢哋講話train 小朋友independence，sense of appreciation (formal Thursday 嗰樣嘢), 仲有montessori program同reading scheme 我都幾buy,仲有好多老師都係Net,嗰日試過幾堂試堂d老師水準都幾高(compared to other school's open day that we went to),又識得同小朋友interact，軟件真係好唔錯。
校舍方面，其實佢對住警察會個球場都幾舒服,係有d擔心佢部lift同上落樓梯啲安全性問題,但依樣唯有信任校方啲安排.

至於license方面,個backup plan 咪就係若遲一個月先有牌開學就出年遲一個月放summer (講緊PN)，講真PN遲一兩個月䦕學都冇所謂啦,至於K1-3，若未有牌就去番樂基上住先,更加冇問題啦.

嗰日有樣嘢留意倒,就係有d小朋友好似已經識d老師仲好熟咁,問番係原來有樂基啲學生轉過來,唔知點解佢哋要咁做?因為location 問題?定貪學校新d?但學費貴d ga bor. 仲有唔知點解好似男生比女生多好多??有冇人可以解答倒?

我問過樂基家長朋友，佢話Principal Vannasa 由九龍塘開校已教，教得非常好，咁多年都好受家長小朋友歡迎。

I think Miss Vanessa and Miss Elizabeth are good at teaching kids but they are not going to teach the kids.  They will be the Principal and course supervisor. I don't know if they are good at school management and teacher selections .
I asked the administrative staff that some teachers come to help out only.  They are from HKPS but they won't teach at Harts.  I cannot tell which teachers will actually be the teacher at Hart's.

Also, it seems they do not cover the Cantonese in my section that day (i.e. not introduce the Chinese supervisor)? Any one can comment this?

Another thing I worry is the drop off point of the school bus.  I forget to ask this that day. Do they have an indoor drop off point?

English teachers 真是很有經驗，I am very impressed.

Btw, 之前好似話有gym room , 在地下，點解冇左？定未ready 冇show

We attended the briefing as well. Quite impressive and more confidence to join this school. The campus is relatively small but it's nice to have sun shine and nice view. The teaching methods they mentioned is nearly equal to HKPS, such as reading scheme.

They mentioned about the G/F(1800 s.q.) will be used as play area but no details provided.

Only one disappointing point is about the school bus inquiry. They can't tell anything about it. it worries me as we live quite far away.

聽完大家咁講，我都對harts有多咗信心，當天故事唱歌兩位miss，我覺得都唔錯喎！係校舍、課室比較細，而地下的裝修同之前講座見過的電腦圖差好遠

School still waiting for the license of the nursery section, kinder license and nursery section license is separate. So, K1 , K2 started today.

We've been invited to attend the transitional class (it started on 5 Oct) pending the PN licence. Have you not received their invitation at all? I suggest you can call them up and ask.

One of my friends paid the uniform fee before summer holiday and she received a call from school regarding the transition class. I didn't receive calls so I called the school and the staff said the transition class is only for those who paid for uniform. I paid on Monday and my daughter joined the class straight away. I think it is still possible to join the class now.

Got it, guess they only treat those who paid for uniform as potential students... That's fair...
I'm actually with another school already, thought about giving up the place, but since the current school doesn't guarantee K1 promotion, I'd probably keep it for now. In case I don't have a K1 offer, will change to Harts for sure.

i think its really depends on when can they have the. license, once harts got the license they will intake pn students officially

I haven't paid any school fees yet, and the transition class started 2 weeks ago so it's completely free. We go to school two days a week for 1.5 hours each time. It feels like normal school stuff, English lesson, Chinese lesson and tea time etc. it's been good meeting the teachers and it allows my daughter to get used to the school environment, too. Hope she doesn't cry too hard when school starts :S
