1984 我覺得太沉重，我自已看完都好像有塊大石壓在心上，中學生可考慮The Giver, 至少 ending 有個希望，但未必個個喜歡這類書

個清單由女兒學校學生選出，共100本，所以包括初中和高中學生喜好，我都有介紹我以前讀的世界名著給女兒，但不同時代有不同選擇，最重要她們喜歡閱讀，我亦會問她們有什麼介紹，The Giver 就是借大女的書看，有很多已拍成電影，又可傾下兩者比較

You may try Percy Jackson series, a lot of boys are a big fan of this.
