I have a child is going to year 6 and I am seriously considering either ICS in Shek Mun or KGV. I have quite few friends with KGV and got their opinion. Can any parent with children in ICS secondary school help comment on the school please. Many thanks and highly appreciated your opinion.

Apply to both. Worry about getting accepted, not choosing.

if you are not starting from Kindergarten in ICS, it is very difficulty to get a offer as there are very few places available. not all applicant can get the opportunity of interview.

Agreed. 15 years ago ICS would take you overnight; now it's a several-year-long wait.

Year 6 of KGV should be equivalent to ICS grade 5, which is under elementary school but not much middle school.

Just want to clarify that KGV is a secondary international school, start from Y7
