1) 銀彈充裕，小朋友較活躍而需要老師支援便pods
2) 想留番個錢，buy傳統名牌幼稚園便spc (不過兩間都係無關連小學，考小一要睇造化)

Have analysed the same earlier. I would say if money is not an issue, go for pods. The program and the language environment is much better at Pods. This is no doubt a new school but the way the teacher taught is the same as HKPS. Pods will be difficult to get in in the future.

Hi Wallaby, how about Pods (bilingual) vs Victoria (trilingual) if I target activities-based primary school? the school fees for both kindergarten are similar.

If you are local HK Chinese, kids will learn Cantonese from the family anyway. Probably it is more beneficial to be in international stream I.e. Mandarin and English at school. My son is in international stream and he can speak really well in Cantonese while at the same time he can also speak good Cantonese and English. The language environment is excellent at pods.

I agree with Wallaby that Pods is a great school with strong language and caring teachers. I heard from the K2 parents that starting this month, the teachers are giving extra free lessons over lunch (1 hour) to help K2 children with interview skills. Because they have a small class and is new, I think they spend a lot of effort in training them.Pods has local stream - that is trilingual with english cantonese and 20 min of mandarin each day if you want trilingual.

In fact I want to say my son can also speak good mandarin and English. The teachers have very good experience and some of them are transferred from HKPS.

Thanks Wallaby and Rabbitmama. 如果我比較注重課程能否啟發思考, 培養學習興趣, 訓練小朋友為主動學習,健談及樂觀的人. 那 Pods 同 Victoria 兩間比較, 哪一間比較符合我期望? Many thanks!

I believe Pods has 1:8 teacher and student ratio which is good small class ratio. They don't have many classes and the teachers can really pay attention to the child and help them. The class teacher of my kid at Pods keep us informed of the development. They have weekly reading scheme with Chinese and English books, my kid really talks a lot after going to school. In addition, you will be surprised how well they speak in Mandarin and English. And my kid can also speak good Cantonese. With a PN student, my kid has been asking a lot of questions which I believe have been helped a lot from school. Of course at the end of day the parents also have to do revision of what they have taught at school, read other story books and home and most importantly talk with the kid.

每年hkps 都有一定數量小朋友入cky或考到cky(你預每班有幾個), 而pods課程的確同hkps相似。不過始終cky未算主流，唔係個個小朋友都會考的。
