我都好想知那一樣理論才對，不過我覺得小朋友的性格也有關。

我囝細時，只用英文同佢溝通，到2歲就讀英普Nursery。3歲前，完全唔識廣東話，到咗K1，就轉讀英粵班，屋企全改用廣東話溝通。而家6歲，兩文三語完全冇問題～

My oldest speak 3 languages. I think it depends on whether you are taking your child to do "lessons" or using it as a way of life. We are a mixed race couple living in a country where we do not originate from. My kids still manage to speak all three languages. That's because they use all three languages all the time. Before the age of three, kids shouldnt receive any formal education anyway, may be that's what the expert is talking about.... "learn" a new language as in being taught, rather than just from every day life...
