Less than 50%? I thought around 30% for spcc and dbs. I thought its more appropriate to compare with esf. However still not all students in esf took ib

If your child is outstanding, he will get a seat at top subject at top university no matter he study's in local school or CKY. The slightly higher chance of getting in is due to the regular practice in presentation and English speaking in CKY
If the child is not up to standard, I won't border to use my savings for him to study abroad as no good subject or good school will accept him. Let him study locally instead
I don't see there is any good for studying overseas for 3 years for just learning English as the main purpose .
I rather use money to create an eng learning environment for him throughout 12 years
Studying IB is demanding , especially the last 2 years. Less homework would only let the child to read more , exercise more and perhaps more time for parents
Learning attitude and language learning at young age are more concerned in my view. So as long as no “hea 讀”, kids should be fine
