最近報紙報導張學友女英國回港

也許壓力太大 , gcse 讀十幾科, 應付不到

讀完 wycombeabbey year 9 , 升year 10

我想分享我的一些看法

  wycombeabbey  是一間傳統女校

嚴謹

wycombeabbey 是一所競爭很大的學校

要去的話, 就要早去, 越早越多位, 考的試越淺

越早越少科

wycombeabbey  gcse 最多可以考15科

同學感情好好.

一級大概同學之間, 有7個左右香港人

幾乎沒有中國人

南韓, 日本人, 都係2,3個(一級加埋)

香港同學之間,是講英文為主

alevel 是組合, 學校最多選5科

edexcel maths ,further maths

ocr chem ,bio

aqa phy

edexcel econ

學校好多活動, year 10, 開始

同埋學校會攪功課班, 等year 12,13

幫低form 的女孩

學校不太重視學生的成績

因為學生自己會處理好

學校在考緊alevel 中間, 攪farewell party

你就知學校對成績幾無所謂

year 9 大概5-6爭1個位

year 12  未必收新學生, 因為要人走, 才會受新學生

我的經驗是12 爭1左右, 通常有人走

要飛去英國考, AA 不經手

這些學校, 不是人人讀得

要衡量是否適合自己女兒

Some more questions for you if you don't mind......

What is the place of music and sports activity in the school? Is badminton played in the school? If yes, any regular fixtures with other schools?

For candidates who would like to try the entrance exam, is it a common practice to have preparatory courses in HK? If yes any suggestions?
