Start teaching phonics in K2; I have kids in K1 and K2 right now.

By the way, most kids may NOT tell they learned phonics even if they are learning it in school; it just helps them to pronounce words. My kid know it is phonics and told us because we have been teaching it ourselves.

"Word Wizard" is a very good apps for smartphone or tablet if you want to get into phonics yourself too; my kids like playing with it.

No, it has nothing to do with the school; we found it useful learning phonics for the kids. You may use it or other similar apps to make doing English homework more fun too.

Looks like the "Word Wizard" I am telling you is only available for IOS, not for Android though (there is an Apps called "Word Wizard" for Android, but it is not the same one as IOS).
