I am also interested in the new campus. But it seems that there is only pm class for pn students. So, still thinking of it.

我會apply new campus for PN first. 校長話收了以後 and I prefer AM, then if tin hau campus AM 有位會考慮轉到tin hau.兩個campus 都算近, 所以報左收了先算.
我覚得info session 見到先生好有心, 同小朋友家長關係很好. 完了跟幾個義工家長傾, 佢地讚不絕口, 應該係真心嘅, 話見到小朋友嘅進步很大同老師好有心機因為小班教學.

I am more concern on the staffing and time allocation of the Principal on each of the school rather than the campus itself.I raised these questions to the Principal. She replied she will recruit experienced staff and also send staff from HKPS (Kowloon Tong campus) and Tin Hau campus. For herself, she will spend time of each of the school every day.

(PS: My son has offer for the local stream of Tin Hua campus)

以前campus Tin Hau細，只開PN and K1，而家有new campus可招PN - K3了

I was quite impressed by them having expert teachers for different areas (art, music/drama, gym) and Montessori classes even though their curriculum seems quite hardcore and suitable for local schools. Combination of local and western I guess.

問了學校. 位應該唔多因為上round 已收滿PN AM再有 waiting, 但佢會睇 this round 幾多人報/interview result 及有冇人放位再決定班數.

totally agreed with u. the school can give me confidence after the talk last night. I'm impressed by their transparency in elaborating their philosophy, operations & curriculums in details. This's something I rarely found fm most of the school talks.

K1-3 remains $6800 x 10. Fee for PN will be increased, still awaiting the approval fm EB according to the principle. But she didn't disclose the new fee of PN. The school will provide free violin training.

I don't think school fee will surge to 8K as the normal range approved by EB for most kinders is around 5%. I guess it'll end up to around $7,200.

yeah i think 5% is reasonable. more than 15% will be too much, EDB will not approve!
At least this school is transparent about only 10 months installment and only uniform and book fee, no other miscellaneous fee. I don't understand why some schools can charge a big amount of misc fee (on top of school fee), for 12 months even though there is a month of school holiday, and also "construction deposit" (i've heard up to 2-30,000). Is that allowed by EDB??

So general comments still being postive... the only uncertainties remain would be the actual size / environment of the new campus and primary allocation results without historical stat..

溫馨提醒一下學費包了很多雜費例如書、茶點等，但偶然有些費用也要家長支付，例如今年x'mas活動到狄士尼，學校生活照片沖曬等，但整體費用不算多

Well the school has assigned different timeslots for parents and kids to attend tge interview, so i saw like 5 to 6 groups of families waiting.... in terms of number, it cant compare to the sc interview that i hv just been too anyways

initially I'm not too prepared to start putting my girls to school so soon until September, as I always feel being a toddler before schooling is the happiest time in life. I think PODS is good but they do not have school bus for PM, a big issue for us with 2 kids at the same age, & we prefer PN near home if possible. anyway we shall try our best effort & see if they would be happy there.

Hi my girl is studying at pods PN (am local) right now. She is 一月大女. She was supposed to start PN in Sept last year. But because I was giving birth to my younger girl in March last year, my husband and I decided to send her to pods early. So she started in April last year. Also in pm class first because only pm class has a spot. Having no school bus for pm class is the only bad thing I can say. Otherwise pm class is so good. Even better than her am class now. Since there are less kids in pm class, the teacher ratio is unreasonably high!!! One time they were having PE lesson. I saw only 10 students but 6 teachers surrounding the 10 of them. They got cared for really well. Also if your kids are to start in March, she will be the special one coz the other kids usually start in Sept already and they would have gotten used to the school environment. So teachers can free up and focus on your kids very much. my girl was a weeny type and cried for almost 2 months every day I sent her to school. The teachers did hold her hands almost all the time in class. She has become very fond of the school and the teachers afterwards. Then we changed to am class in Sept (still PN). Since everyone was new to school and she was not, there was no more special treatment and she needed time to adjust. But since she is a 大女，she was assigned to help other younger kids in class and she enjoyed it a lot too.

From my experience I would strongly recommend u to start early if sending them to school is not too big of a hassle for u.

so your girl is still in their PN am, right? any plans to send your younger one there soon?
in fact I've heard from the school bus company that there may not be enough kids in my living area to reroute even in the next school year, so I'm not sure if we'll stay in PODS if we could get another offer closer to my home. Of course it would be a pity as I've heard so many good comments about this school.
