Maybe 是個有點非正式的用字，例如：
Boy: "Are you going to my birthday party?"
Girl: "Hmmm... well... maybe."

Perhaps 是個中性的字，用來表達可能性，例如：
Boy: "How many people in your school?"
Girl: "There are 800, perhaps 900, students in my school"

1) 兩個字意思相同
2) 都可用於句子開首及結尾，但只有perhaps才能用於句子中間，看下面例句。

As you perhaps remember, I worked as an interpreter for three years in the European Parliament.

WRONG to say: As you maybe remember …

3) perhaps比maybe較正式。口語兩個也可用。若是寫正式文章，應該用perhaps。
P.S. 沒冒犯樓主的意思，但若真心想學英文，不應該仔細看連結的解釋嗎？解釋用的英文其實很淺白。
