we paid 300 application fee n we dont even no where we r in the waiting list...

According to the way the kindergartens did it in previous years, children who are being interviewed and receiving offers now are those with some kind of priority (e.g. staff, sibling, alumni etc). For the main bulk of applicants, invitations will be sent later this month (December) and interviews will occur in January.

Yes, we have sibling priority. They only interview fewer than 60 kids on that day. School calendar blocks off Jan 23 for play visits. Other people may expect theirs on that day, if no change.

Oops, I think the 1st round play visit was on 01 Dec, but seems I'm wrong.

Omg, I've never heard that ESF will arrange 2nd interview for those applying K1. A bit worry now.

Congrz, may I know your date of play visit and did u have 2nd interview?

My elder girl is now studying in ESF , so my younger girl got priority for interview. She visited the school on 24 Nov. I don't know am or pm class yet. They do have second interview but I think only just a few children whose performance was really bad need to attend. Almost all could be accepted.

Congrats !! my son was one of those who did really bad. i really hope we could have a second chance.Ciaochibi, may i know your comment regarding the school?

Dear all, I called the school today and my child got an offer from them. If you had the interview on 24.12 or 1.12 and you heard nothing from school. Congrats to you all, meaning your children will be offering a place. Because they only sent out 2nd in letters or reject letters so far.

Sorry to hear that. In fact my girl is a shy kid. She hided away from the teacher that day and she was willing to play play dough. The teacher observed for a while and knew that she listened to my instruction.

So just relax, make them happy to play and choose the game they have shown confidence. Good luck.

My girl will be in tsing yi ESF. I think if u aim at ESF primary school, it does have advantage.

Do you know how many children interviewed on 24 Nov and 5 Dec?
I applied TY ESF with no priority.
I'm so worry that my son has no chance as the k1 places have already been filled up.
