咁多年來都係咁架喎。學校用車輪式收生，越早有得in機會越大。就算真係一次過in晒再揀人，又代表公平/揀到最好？沒有最好，只有更好。我又唔覺好唔logic喎。

then wats da point of having on going interviews for the later on candidates if - especially - all of the AM offers have been filled by the earlier candidates?! --- wats reasonable would be finishing all interviews, get things finalized, and then release offer! thats should be logic and how things should go!

i dun think its not 机會大小，佢甘*run business* 基本上你肯去in 都會有offer! 太覽了！

其實我都好唔明白york呢個做法，我早係6月已經交form apply pn，但就12月22先interview，雖然我個b係9月尾b，但見10月b都早過我interview，真係實在唔知佢係點安排。。。而家諗諗下仲要得2個鐘上pn，有D失望。。。雖然york名氣大，但我個人認為時間真係太短，都會影響到學習。。。原本諗住報pg，但2個鐘既堂原來一定要搭校車，1個鐘零3個字既堂我又覺得比較短。。。唉，越黎越難諗

唉，鐘意york的家長我們，並不會係好似你地咁focus有無名氣呀(其實我唔覺佢有名氣，睇大家咁踩法就知)，commercial 呀之類... What we are focusing is... How the teachers teach and our kids learn inside the school...
仲有，學校宜家放offer，無人話fill up所有位，只係部分位，第一round後有人give up第二round in就有target要收幾多人。唔怕話你知，到你小朋友升小，你就知更多學校咁做。中學更更更多係咁分批in分批收。

做人要中立 d admin / policy 的確有問題導致作為家長的我們好frustrated /無所適從- to quote e.g. in Oct, it was presented by the school that there will be 3 hour PN class and then out of nowhere, without any formal or informal communication - no 3 hr class will be offered! Had I got to know this earlier, I would not have paid the sim of money sending my kid to their PN!! it wasted - not only my money but also my time!

冇法啦！學校政策就係'先'收報名費，'後'簡介會(我接受同專重學校政策架,我喜歡學校先報名架)，比左錢當買個面試經驗。如果真係收左，就唔好意思，要等學校放位。只可以講係學校政策，想多收取$40吧了。如果'先'簡介會，就唔洗晒錢同時間，d行政老師們又可以少d工夫！

I know, so I didn't apply those school. And some schools have seminar before applying the school too. So I understand different schools have different policy.

坦白說，我一開始都唔覺車輪式收生係irrational and not logical ，分批in，覺得啱就收，唔洗喺幾千人揀到最最最好。比起有啲神校，application form寫埋阿爸阿媽讀邊間小學，擺明唔會收你又叫你去in，跟住in你兩分鐘，其他人in十幾分鐘，仲要態度好似叫你快啲過主咁，又好rational 嗎？

Yes! I agree. 名氣、口碑，唔可以當飯食……the most important is the school program, teaching style, the school location, etc are they fit your kids! Teachers are by lucky, even 'famous' school, will also have bad teachers!

其實大家洗咩咁勞氣呢。。。從來我都認為york係一間好學校，佢名氣大係事實，點解覺得佢名氣大就唔係真心鍾意york呢？我相信每位父母去為自己心愛既小朋友揀一間幼兒園，係會考慮多方面既因素，大家只係想分享下好與壞，唔需要一句「唔like咪唔好讀囉」咁既回應啩

To start with, I like the school a lot. But after I discovered that the PN classes would only be two hours (via forum then called school to confirm), I was disappointed about the arrangements. I had given up the interview yesterday and will just try again for K1 if he doesn't have other offers.

講真，其實大家都冇"唱衰"呢個成份！事實擺在眼前，就算佢唔比pn offer你，咪叫你返workshop or playgroup (成8千几以上 ),仲要未必收你pn喎！揀選一間學校有好多因素既！老師好、課程几好都未必足夠理由揀呢間…..for me, even they offer pn to my son, i still won't take it, cos the money for 2 hrs class, i will go to playgroup instead, many bb don't even go to pn la....can still apply k1 next year....

其實好多學校都係分批in,分批收。TKO綠茵交表時問佢，係咪早交表早in旱收，學校答我唔係，點知最後都係分批in, 早交表11in, 12月出offer, 遲交表1月才in

好多學校都係咁,只是約克特別惹火，特別多人批評

另外，2小時pn真係好乞人憎。但唔讀york pn, 出年再考過，我驚K1考唔到姐，佢自称幾千人報名爭幾百個位，點可以逢人收？

我稔你misunderstand左我嘅意思 i was meaning--- i don't understand the logic of the interview workflow of the school... Regarding irrational and not logical , I was referring to some parents who - only 一尾要其他家長e.g. Me，吾可以發表對學校有些方面不當，好似一定要講學校好好好如果吾係就交左interview錢比埋playgroup錢都吾好讀衣間or係度發聲咁

sorry, I don't have any comment on interviews arranged by batches, this is school's regulation, as long as the school have a clear informations to parents, it is not a problem. But, I just found the school given out different version of classes arrangement (3 hrs changed to 2 hrs) , was posted out in 2 different seminars! Also without any official announcement! I feel disappointed about this. If york's lovers think 'this arrangement' is not a problem from the school, then I have NO SAY!

見大家鬧得火紅火綠，其實退後一步諗真係唔駛勞氣，一年之後回顧返今日的執著，只會一笑置之。唔知大家有無留意，往年pn上午都係兩班兩個鐘，只有下午班才三個鐘，換然之，莫講今年甘癲，以前入到york pn都未必入硬3個鐘班; 上午班兩個鐘仲得一程校車㖭，死未。年年都有類似的聲音，pn姐，真係唔駛為左兩/三個鐘動氣。其實，用家只要用過/用埋其他kinders，一有比較，你便知課程堅係夠fruitful。

我覺得我明你意思，你係覺得學校咁安排有問題，例如先報名後briefing，又突然改晒兩個鐘唔通知等等... 所以覺得學校行政唔好，planning不足，有錯嗎？
係架，York 係有喱方面問題，例如我地上年突然轉校車公司校車路線等等。唔排除係學校見上年就算開兩個鐘的PN都咁多人揀，而果班小朋友今年齊齊升K1，發現同上年上三小時的小朋友分別不大(我有留意我小朋友班內同學，的確無話兩小時PN的同學有落差喎)，咁學校咪不如轉晒兩小時，你講得啱，一來PN可以收多啲人多啲學費，二來收K1時又唔洗再收咁多街外人！

其實...各家長都唔係"勞氣"或"緊張"，只不過係pn姐，我哋只係以事論事，就係唔想各家長有誤會！先講清楚。
學校先收費後簡介會都不是問題……你知啦，如果我唔講清楚，有d家長又會話……"唔鐘意又報，報左又唱衰學校，又擺住個位，你唔要大把人要"，等等既說話……所以我先講呢個係學校按排! 其實報得名又点會唔鐘意間學校呢……

我又要講清楚喇……我相信3hrs class唔須要政府批……10月尾於簡介會中話下午班是3小時，11月初簡介會中下午班改為2小時。10月尾或之前聽完既家長係唔知有改動，直至去interview或交留位費或透過bk forum先知 . 有冇影響就自己分析啦！(我深信亦知道有些家長如早知得2個鐘就唔去interview 或報名添)。

因為我B Pg也由一周2日突改3日，學校突然10月通知11月改返新schedule,而學費仲比比例上貴左些少。我問學校點解咁突然，且學費點定？學校話是要教局批的，咁啱Y記的改變也是11月提出，所以我估雖然3改2不雖批，但有關學費要批的

in my opinion, I think not only there was problem on its planning, but also the actual execution throughout the entire info delivery process -- and yet this piece of inconsistent info still hasnt been provided by the school to the wholehearted parents up until now - which 2/3 hour class CAN BE a key factor for some parents in deciding PN for their kids! -- end of story!

I think it's shortened more for the reason of squeezing in an extra class each day in the afternoon...

你放心喎衣間學校你肯比錢就會有offer架la wor 就算今年冇下年都會比個special offer你 (you will not have the offer unless under the uncommunicated situation to be happened again that the school changes its random mind without giving any prior notice to you dear york loving parents)

無啦啦去到interview先知轉哂2hr 。。。感覺都幾odd講真 ~ 不過去到點都 in 埋先。。 2點等到4點先到我 in 。。。老師其實都好似趕工甘。。。都有小小失望

你又講得啱喎……"讀PN都係買K1位", 比個意見你，如冇pn offer,咪讀playgroup 1年囉, 都係2個鐘 (or you can choose 1.15 hrs class), 可能仲平過pn添！佢哋比"special case"都係想d人join playgroup姐，雖然講明join playgroup都未必收,但你join 1年喎，咁有誠意實比k1 offer 你啦！有錢唔洗慌！
