Any parent call interview from other school?

Usually will receive interview email in late Jan for interview date in late Feb or early March. Successful case will receive email of acceptance in 2 weeks. Not successful cases will receive letter. So if you see their letter in post box, mean try again next year.

When did you apply and for what year? Past 2 years i also applied for my kids and above are the interview date and time for past 2 years and maintained the same .i also applied this year sept so strangely that you got interview already.

Int'l school gives priority for some special cases, like the family who has just moved to Hong Kong and missed to enrollment submission deadline.

R1 interview not yet started, but I heard that grade 1 (ie for currently local K3 students) got their interview done already.

My daughter got interview last Friday n now wait two weeks for result. She is pre g1
My daughter loves this school n so do me n my husband. This school is not really commercial feel n the students I observed are well behaved. Just one thing I doubt is their Chinese level upon high school graduation. Anyone knows?!

Pre g1 interview has been started in mid nov till jan, the school invite us for interview about two weeks in advance. They interview 大B In November, and younger child in Dec n jan. So i suppose they are calling more applicants to interview soon.
Though we love be this school, we feel no hope to get in as they take about 90% of kids from Ics kindergarten, which means only around ten seats from outside.

I do agree that older kids of the form will be assigned to interview first.
My daughter is in R1. As R1 and R2 got same number of kids, the chance of getting in depends on whether there's any kids leaving.
We all love ICS very much! Teachers do understand her strength and weakness in detail with love, and all the people are well behaved with good manners. Most importantly we treasure the Christian based teaching!

btw do u mind sharing a bit on how to train or develop your kid to be able to meet a teacher he does not know and willing to speak up during the interview?

Nono, we didn't have any interviews. The only news we got from the school is to attend the admission test.
