Has anyone switched your child from a local traditional school to KCIS? I would like to know the difference in workload and test/exam pressure between a local school and KCIS. And how did your child do in adapting in KCIS?
Any comment and feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm just exploring several IS to consider applying to. Heard KCIS is very good in Chinese and discipline among the IS in HK, but wonder if they're as demanding as LS as well. Apparently, one of the reasons to consider switching to IS is to avoid the crazy homework and test/exam pressures. My kid is at P.2 in LS.
Any input is appreciated!

LS P.2 = IS P.3

kcis功課和評估，比LS少好多，每天有中文功課，平日多數看圖書和阅讀報告，1星期一份5頁的综合練習， 1年2次評估，1week English dictation 10 生字, 2 weeks 中文背默課文1或2段+詞語, 数學,常識都有Quiz (吾話比家長知的).
我覺得kcis都是比較傳統的，雖然是is, 但學生行為有問題，一樣會寫手册比家簽的。

轉校至今，阿囝適應得很快很好，見佢日日肯主動起床番學，又同我分享學校既人和事，佢自己亦都話很喜歡。我對於學校方面，暫時很滿意，同我預期差不多既模式，中英都平衡到，課程阿囝亦覺得handle得舒服，吾大test/homework壓力。
