International seems the kids will have more time spent under an English based environment.

whereas Mainstream seems the kids will adapt tge mainstream local school easier.

Me, as parent, tend to send our kid to local school , however, does wish our kid has better English language skill.

How will you choose as parents? pls share your thoughts, tks.

我都係周旋於呢個位。
International school 注重因才施教，探索四處事物，英文程度高，近屋企。
Mainstrean school 區內小學喜歡 incase要叩門都容易啲，但英文一定無国際學校好，重品德，但從小便開始填鴨，會埋沒小朋友局部發展。

International school! In long run, they should equip with a smarter & creative brain rather than knowing how to exam!! Inspire them to be a scientist rather than be a politician or banker is much better(no offence to these two occupations, just thinking HK is lacking scientists)! Only if you can't afford the international school fee, then no choice but to adapt the local school way...

If the parents speak more English to the kid, then better pick a Chinese school, or vice versa. Of coz many English schools are kinda costly, so gotta consider that as well.

Personally, I think it has more to do than 'English vs Chinese'.
The main difference, to me, is they approach education in different ways (creative vs memorization, explore vs being told, etc).

So I think one may want to consider the 'approach' rather than 'language'.

thx for sharing.. developing kids from int'l school doesnt always fit into the equation though... :p

sorry typo, i mean - developing kids **to be a scientist** from int'l school doesnt always fit into the equation though... :p
