My son interviewed this morning and I call the secretary this afternoon, she said result will be announced in Jan coz the last group interview will be held on Dec 16.

oh no, how did your son perform on that day? Was the interview difficult?

Actually he performed quite OK on that day and also he's now studying at kcs for pn, so I really don't know based on what criteria to select and give offer.

My daughter is in KCIS primary (transferred from a local DSS), we're quite happy there. Her class teacher is responsible and positive. School rules are not as strict as local school. Chinese is quite good (among international schools), and the Chinese teacher is actually holding high standard.

I applied for my younger one to KCIS. We're among the first batch to take the interview. Some sibling of my daughter's classmates are in the same interview session too. They got offer quite early, a few days after the interview (end of Nov). I guess it's because of the elder ones are from KCIS kindergarten to KCIS primary, so the teachers are familiar with their family background and academic standard (my personal guess).
For us, the offer came a few days ago. Probably they wait for the assessment result of the elder one for the semester? My gal did pretty well, so probably that's the reason? I'm not sure.

from what I heard from a few waiting list case, usually at the end they will get an offer but very very late.. may be a few months or can be last month before Sept (school starts). It is quite nerve wracking. so don't give up mommies!

My son also on waiting list, I call school office today and the guy said need to wait the final result until January....hope it is true.

Thanks for lighting me up 😊 I called the admin just now. The first round offer will be for siblings around 3x places and they rejected few applications who has sibling which I was surprised. The admin lady also told me that they haven't sent out all letters yet however reject has been sent out. She also told that their waiting list is around 6x and base on her past experience really have chance being placed just takes time to wait. She mentioned their criteria is base the priority of 1) sibling 2) sequence of application submission (provided that the student having same score in the interview). She also encourage me that still having hope as the deadline of the first round offer is on Dec22, they should hv more places release after holiday. Let's pray for it!
