ymca要睇國際學校板先多啲人提，全英文，好似一個星期先得15分鐘普通話。小學YMCA上年開左英普私校，叫SWCS YMCA Christian School，行非本地課程，YMCA講明小三前都唔會谷，小三後先加少少谷。。。講反幼稚園，返左兩個月，我唔知自己個仔學左乜

因為我仔開學時零英文，中文10個單字數得哂，手册只寫如9-9:45 story time，課程theme只係如OCT-know your body,亦唔會日日有老師同你報到。。。成果:中文突然進步(我家功勞)，英文少量單字，聽明多左英文Instruction, 好好好喜歡返學，好surprise學校disciple教得好好，每日自動睇書，一唱clean up song,不論幾想玩都clean up,仲要幾整齊。。。感受:不能同本地課程去比較佢學左幾多野，我同老公返工忙，感謝學校完全對家長無要求，真正感受老師有愛心，高包容力同接受學生差別，一間連見到見下就收嘅學校，我覺得先係有教無類

似乎呢個都係我心目中嘅理想學校。
我屋企樓下嗰間都係happy sch.有學卷。但係本地課程。係自己顧慮太多

worc1361, i live in tsing yi too. i think i will give my son a try to take school bus next year. this year the school sent us a survey for the bus route. as we both live in tsing yi, we should have a great chance to get a bus.

I think it depends on whether you are aiming for international primary or local primary....YMCA's graduates go to international primary while Creative's graduates usually go to local DSS.

Hi Yipcat, some info I remember:
K1 fee: 4542 x 10
Curriculum: UK EYFS
Mandarin: 2 hours per week
Primary school allocation: YMCA Christian School(did not have to interview for the past 2 years), ESF, CAIS, Renaissance College e.g. If you want to put your kid to local primary then you will need to work on your child's Chinese outside if school

I wonder as well...the campus isn't very big and the last time we went there for a visit it seems that they don't have many facilities (at least when compared to YMCA TST). Any current parents of this school feeling that the facilities and campus have an impact on the child's learning at this school?

I went to both schools for playgroup. For me, I think beacon has a nicer internal environment cos its new and it's a three stories building. As for external, tst is surely better..cos it's located next to the peninsula hotel..

ymca is always good in software and bad in hardware. Actually i don't worry about the size of the school. i remembered that my home was very big when i was small. But in fact it was only 4xx ft. i think in the eyes of children, everything is big.
