鋼琴細一點學也可。其他管弦樂器大小小會好些。以長笛為例，最好升了小學才開始。

又唔係話必唔必學的, 我好多學生的管/弦樂器玩得不錯, 但也沒有鋼琴根底

不過, 鋼琴對建立一定的音樂基礎很有作用, 如和聲, 音準等, 如有能力, 也應學習鋼琴

同意彈琴係必學, 4歲手指夠力已可以. 同埋好多學校, 都expect 鋼琴係小朋友必識嘅樂器, 如果唔識會好輸蝕. 我個囡學琴同小提琴, 加游水同普通話.

想問下我囡4歳學琴5歳停左，而家6歳學返老師話佢pick up返得好快，如果想比佢學second instrument 邊隻比較易？佢想join 學校orchestra, thanks!!

My kids started piano at 5 and 6 and their perfect pitch still are developed. But I agree that in order to develop their perfect pitch ability, learning piano after 6 would be a bit late. Because building neurons in brains to recognize the exact pitch happens before 6.... Too bad but too lucky that we only know about 'perfect pitch' at their 8 and 9 when they show this ability.

My hubby is 五音不全。I may have such ability but too bad I learn music after 8 so I only have relative pitch. I only recognise A Only.

But having perfect pitch is good or bad. One of my kid learnt treble clef instrument so he can play the notes vocally without the instrument. However, when he is presented the bass clef composition question in theory exam, he is stuck because he could nt make such low notes. Kind of stupid....

I don't think hereditary plays much role, I reckon more likely it is acquired...u can tell by seeing a lot of kids having this ability nowadays due to learning music at a younger age....
