I haven't made up my mind which one to go. Could you all shed some light? FYI, last year my girl had PN interview with Victoria but was not selected. Thanks!

These are two very different schools... According to my friends' first hand experiences:

1) Language: KV emphasizes more on Chinese; Victoria is vice versa
2) Culture: KV is more traditional; Victoria is more liberal
3) Fee: KV is very reasonably priced; Victoria is a bit pricy
4) Activities: KV is a very basic school, not much fancy activities; Victoria provides wide range of activities (some are optional)

Other than these, I guess u should consider your kid's ability and character. Of course, another major consideration is what sort of primary school that you are targeting. If u aim for traditional school, KV is more suitable. If u aim for liberal/English orientated school, Victoria is a yes.

Also pending on which Victoria that you are talking about. KV admits several hundred K1 kids each year. You better check how many kids your targeted Victoria will intake.

Same fate as me, kentville clashes with victoria, my choice is kentville. Honestly both are good school and everybody situation and choice is different. I will choose kentville because school bus is available and price is affordable to me, but chance may be less because everyone is going to this interview instead

For primary schools, I would love it if my girl can study in DGS - is it considered a traditional school? But I also fancy the IB school PLK CKY...so which kind of kindies should my girl attend?

CKY and DGS completely different

I would choose KV if I were u; one VEO kindergarten offers tens K1 as their PN students will be directly promoted, while KV got hundreds as there is no PN class.

Both C K Y and D gS needs girls strong in English.

最近和一fd 交談，之前vic pn , 剛上小一，就好envy kv 同學的寫字和適應能力，不過唔多唔少有dd 係 just being nice 和 the grass is greener on the other side.

谷唔谷見仁見智啦，我識人讀SFA都好輕鬆㗎。有D training 真是在學校先做到。上到小一讀傳統主流小學就好明顯。
