The Continuous Professional Development Days are for the teachers to attend training so the schools will be closed.

I think CPD days can be different for different ESF schools. There are 4 (or 5?) CPD days in addition to the regular ESF holidays which each ESF school can designate to their own school calendar. Best to check with your particular ESF school website to see which days are CPD.
