或者你先了解多D什麼是lB，lB學校鼓勵學生探索硏究，功課量不多但不是抄寫背默，學校不會迫學生，通常家長覺唔夠自己加多D

難定易，好睇你處境。
有買債券的，好易，有2次interview機會。

讀維幼，英文叻又肯講嘢的，吾算好難，但亦吾係易。識幾個in一次就reject咗，亦有pta committee活躍份子都無行。

非維幼生，非常難。

咁多間維幼成600個學生，小一開盡7班都得200個位，一成多D給非維幼生，就算不是個個維幼都申請小一都唔夠位，早一兩年是8個爭一個位，近年小學同中學都有進步，lB成績又唔錯，多了人爭都可理解

Wow!! Year 8 and 10. My child will attend year 1 in 2015. Since I just want my child to go to school for fun, and just want to know anything about the school.

Welcome to the VSA family. Lots of fun for your kid. Have a look at Victoria Wed, our bi-weekly newspapers, and you will know more about what's happening at school.

Since my daughters are now in the secondary, I am not so updated with the primary section. I know the Math syllabus has been more structured (not sure still using the Singapore text books); NO tests/exam from year 1 to 5 (not allowed by IBO, yeah! ).

In year 1, there is no textbook for Maths but the program follows Singapore textbook "My Pals are Here". Maths will be taught in both English and PTH.

Other than English, Chinese and Maths, they have drama and music, should be taught in English

How about Science, social studies, and others like History, Geog etc?
Are these all teach by foreign teachers?

Are the students talk to others in English in school ?

Year 1 to 5, ie primary, does not teach by subjects. Each class has two teachers, one putonghua and one English. Generally both languages are used in teaching. Secondary school is subject based. Apart from Chinese, all subjects are taught in English.

Both teachers from abroad and local. You can check each teacher's profile in the school website. Students are required to communicate in either English or Putunghua during class. School does not prohibit use of Cantonese in school.

yes, heard that more and more students in primary talked in Eng or Putunghua outside classroom as well.
