軒上有精英班, 如果妳女女入唔到精英班, 升中唔駛諗bps, 你自已睇下升中資料, 升唔到bps大多數升去維多利亞band 2, 相反,真光有七成女女可以直升band 1中的中學部

bps當然好過真光, 我意思係真光小學部有back up, 讀得好的話都可以出去考更好的學校.如果唔夠人考都還有真光.真正進可攻退可守. 軒小我剩係知道考試如考到全級三十名或以內,名字會公佈在榜上.其他的名次就不會公開,但家長可私底下問老師名次. 我估這些榜上有名的就會編入精英班掛

女生46人, 9 BPS, 1 MMC, 1 SFC, 1 St Paul, 1 TL, 仲有唔知幾多入咗男如Band 1校, 如金文泰, 鄧肇堅, 高主教.
升中其實並非入唔到精英班或者全級頭幾位就一定入唔到某某學校. 升中也是一個抽獎機制, 分別是, 如你個女成績逹Band 1, 佢就有機會抽中任何一間同區Band 1中學 (當然都係要睇策略)
真光中學其實每年也只有留20個位左右俾真小, 唔好以為好多位, 可參考今年教育局學位分配資料:

真光中學留俾小學個D係"直屬/聯繫學額", 但21個, 另有50個位俾同區所有小學抽

咁你要從升中派位開始留意遊戲規則，真中同真小應該只係聯繫學校，即係到中一統一派位時，真中可以預留25%中一學位俾真小，即係整體中一學位約16%
假設真中自行收生個30%留埋俾真小即係一共會收46%，以2014年中一學位計，應該至少有65個真小係可以上番真中.
至於真小有幾多百份比升上真中，都要睇下真小個年有幾多畢業生

So the resultant figure is still considerable, i.e. as much as 70% can go to TL Secondary. Does it matter whether the place is from 聯繫 or 自行? I may have got it wrong. Please correct me if that is the case.

純估下...依網上資料...真中 F1有132個位...40個自行位+8個留班位+21個聯繫位=69人
又依 真小 2013 有75人升真中....尚欠6個位...可能由 甲一/乙一 抽獎位 + 叩門位(抽中但放棄註冊)填上該6個位 (尚有38個真小女生未有位)~~~

Thanks for the information. Does it mean that there is no guarantee of Truelight Secondary accepting that many Truelight Primary students in the future if they later change their policy on 自行收生? The only guaranteed part is the 25% 聯繫位 which is not that many.
From that perspective, it is not much better than Hennessy AM. Is that right?

我個人睇法...無論直資/私小/官津...收生都係以成績行先...另理論上...聯繫/直屬 都可以有權一個自己小學學生都唔收...但自己小學學生學術水平都存在懷疑...往外收生豈不風險更高?
曾有一朋友多年前講過...佢小朋友在真光讀左12年...現大學已畢業...佢個人睇法係 真小係私小...因想係小學階段收自己學生去培訓...再係中學成為津中...係盡用資源...又確保學術水平 ~~~

其實你叩得軒小, 你都係希望女兒升中可入BPS. 但我睇返軒小升中資訊, 49名女生有9名入BPS, 但這9名有幾多是自行考入,幾多人是靠派卻沒有實質數字. 但起碼肯定一點是一定要係全級最TOP的女生先入到, 咁之後果D中游份子呢? 睇表最多人入係維多利亞鄧肇堅,何東. 咁你覺得這些中學和真光中學比較如何呢? 再睇返真光中學,自行加派位有75位女生, 最TOP果D就考到更好的學校如女拔,聖保祿, 瑪利曼等.餘下中游份子大部份都入到真中.就咁睇數據點都係真小靚D. 以上是我個人觀點,有錯請更正.....

According to the Hennessy AM website info, girls not going to BPS may still have offers from 金文泰, St Paul's Convent, Marymount,TL and SKH Tang Shiu Kin (all being band 1 schools) attributing some 24 students (apart from TSK Victoria and Ho Tung). That doesn't sound worse than TL primary.
That's where the dilemma lies.

坊間評Grade...TLMSHK 係1B...好過佢只有 BPS...SPC...MSS
軒上 46個女仔...入到比 TLMSHK 同級或更好既英中共有 BPS (9) + SPC (1) + MSS (1) + TLMSHK (1) + Canossa College (1) = 13 (或 13/46 =28.3%)
金文泰係同級 1B...但係中中...男女共6人
自己評估下值搏率 ~~~
ps....軒上 都係區內一間出名好既學校 ~~~
