有買過 Ladder book，但好似個故事好短

其實我都唔知應該開始chapter book未，所以想知入門咩chapter book 比較有趣

My child.was assessed to be at K3 reading ability but i find chapter books too hard for.her because of the context of the story.

The ladder readers are not interesting enough though. So I just took the teachers advice and gave her picture books like those by Jim Murphy, Eric carle, Julia Donaldson.

Some Julia Donaldson books are challenging enough and they are easily found from public libraries.

If your child is ready for chapter books you may try Oxford Magic tree House or Nancy Drew stories.

ORT睇到邊個stage？其實Tree Tops 都係chapter books黎ga，可繼續睇落去。另外，Mr. Men & Little Miss, Usborne Young Reading, Magic Tree House, A to Z mystery, Magic School Busd都可俾佢試下。

ORT只睇緊stage 3-4咋
其實多數我讀，佢自己唔多願意自己睇
Mr Men 個d 有趣不過對佢黎講深，都係我讀佢聽
真係好想搵到d 書培養佢可以自己睇

Then he is definitely not ready to read chapter books yet, unless you want to read them to him. Furthermore , sentence structures are more varied and complex . It won't do him any good.

Stage 3 n 4 are really easy. You should at least wait until he can read level 10 aloud to you, before you start him on chapter books.

相同意見，只係讀到ort4,5，唔好睇chapter books，ort4，5距離chapter books中間仲有好多書要睇，宜家咁快迫佢去睇咁長同深既書，只會嚇怕佢，建議睇埋ort 5-11先。

小朋友唔願自己睇，更加顯示佢未到個level，你讀既話，老實講，你讀Harry Porter都得ga，只係當中佢明幾多？有幾多字佢真係認得同明白？基本功要打得好，將來閱讀先會暢快，努力同佢完成ort 4-11，當佢可以拎住是旦一本一字不差咁讀出黎時，就可以開始chapter books喇。
