Anyone child study in HKA? Any comments of it and may I know the school fees? Coz cannot find it in the website

Kindergarten around $110000 per year, primary around $150000 per year. Debenture is $500000.

(綜合報道)(星島日報報道)繼大埔康樂園國際幼稚園被揭違規超收報名費後，西貢的香港學堂國際學校（幼稚園部）被揭報名費高達三千元，是法定上限的一百倍，當局飭令校方糾正，並於下月初去信全港幼稚園，提醒調高報名費須得到教育局批准。有幼稚園校長建議當局設定報名費上限同時，亦應把報名費與學費水平掛鈎，不能超過特定比例。

教育局局長吳克儉前日表明，幼稚園未獲批准便收取逾三十元報名費屬違規之際，再有幼稚園被揭發超收報名費，去年遷入西貢新校址的香港學堂國際學校（幼稚園部），報名費高達三千元，即法定上限一百倍。教育局證實該校收取的報名費未獲批准，已飭令校方糾正，並繼續與學校跟進。本報昨致電該校，惟截稿前未有回應。
現時幼稚園報名費核准上限三十元的水平，在二千年訂定，若收取超逾上限的報名費，須向當局申請。現時多所國際學校幼稚園，獲准收取遠較上限為高的報名費，例如德瑞國際學校收取三千七百元，香港澳洲國際學校及蒙特梭利國際學校收取二千元。哈羅香港國際學校現時收取一千五百元報名費，教育局證實接獲學校申請調高報名費，而九龍城區共三所幼稚園亦申請新學年加報名費，有關申請現正處理中。
接連有國際幼稚園被揭發濫收報名費，教育局在五月初將去信全港幼稚園，提醒校方不可收取逾核准上限的報名費，若學校有需要調高報名費須得到當局批准，信件亦會列明相關的申請程序。
教育工作者聯會副主席林翠玲指，國際學校幼稚園收取高昂報名費，有「貴族化」進行篩選的用意，「這些國際學校知道家長多是在港工作外籍人士，萬多元學費付得起之餘，二千多元報名費似乎很合理；若哈羅等校只收三十元報名費，反而有人覺得奇怪。」她認為當局宜嚴格把關之餘，亦須把報名費與學費水平掛鈎，學校不能收取相當於學費特定比例的報名費。

Kindergarten is just half day. They do not have full day programme. Primary is full day though.

They will only select some of the applicants instead of all for interviews. This is what I was told when I attended the open house of the school.

The school officer told me in the open house that the chance is quite high if your child gets invited for the interview. But I am not sure how high the chance really is.

Both academics & discipline are strong, although it runs the American system (I think). Do take note of where you prefer your child to study for university in the future. Ie. A friend of mine prefer UK based over US based curriculum because they are raised in Common wealth countries and the child has a German passport. Both HKA & Harrow accepted the child but they are going for Harrow for the above reason.

Yes, for the first child it is a must to purchase the debenture. For the second child and onwards, you can choose to buy the debenture or pay annual capital levy.
