We live in the US now and are moving to Hong Kong this summer. My son got the two admissions in the reception class.  I only know the HKIS is a US school and Kellett is the UK one. The HKIS is more expensive than Kellett. Any suggestions on which one to choose? Thanks a lot!

It really depends on which education system you prefer. As you come from the US and if you plan to send your son back to US for college, of course HKIS is definitely a better choice as it offers AP program. Kellett is still running UK A-level program.

One more point to consider. As HKIS has a mandatory school bus policy, it's better to check the routes they offer on the website. They only run on several districts especially on Kowloon side. If you will live on HK Island, then should have problem. They basically cover the whole HK Island districts. But if you plan to live in Kowloon or NT areas, better check at what time your son needs to arrive at the school bus collection point. It can be very early, e.g. around 7am and this may also be critical for your decision or where you plan to live.
