My cousin is now studying year 7 in a private school in UK.  He would like to come back to HK to study International school.  His parents ask me comments on below 5 schools :

AIS, Discovery Bay ESF, Renaissance ESF, Delia school of Canada, and Kiangsu & Chekiang

He was diagnosed as Gifted as well as Dyslexia, so Happy Schooling (愉怏學習) is the first priority and good ethos (良好校風) are the second.  Public exam result is not important.

Thanks in advance for your help!

P.S.  I have no idea on any international schools and I know don't above school are UK or US type.

In accordance to the stated criteria, this is how i would rank the schools lists:

1) Happy Schooling (愉怏學習)--
Discovery Bay ESF (DC)
Renaissance ESF (RC)
AIS
Kiangsu & Chekiang
Delia school of Canada

2) Good ethos (良好校風)--
Kiangsu & Chekiang
Renaissance ESF (RC)
Discovery Bay ESF (DC)
Delia school of Canada
AIS

As to being diagnosed as Gifted as well as Dyslexia:
I agree that ESF is the best for special ed, and even if DC & RC doesn't do as well as other ESF schools, it is possible to transfer from one ESF to another once you are in their system. (Not 100% sure about DC & RC transferring to regular ESF, parents in the know please comment).

Many thanks for your details answer. From these answers above, I think ESF would be the best choice for sen students.

Yes agree ESF has the best support.

I am pretty sure students were not able to switch from PIS to ordinary ESF (for lack of a better term) in the past because of the subventions. May be they will all be the same in a few years when the subventions is lifted.

Do you mean DC & RF are not regular ESF, but PIS? What is PIS, I have no idea on IS.

DC and RC is private school of ESF。the students cannot transfer to or from ESF schools without formal admission .
