其實除了上堂, 父母在家都要跟, 不能全靠面試班

唔係喎, 我覺有用, 我一個仔在九龍塘讀, 一個在中環分店讀, 兩個都有offer, 係講緊好多人認為係一線既學校...

V expensive $$$ that had to pay a lump sum in advance, and the teacher was not good who could not give us advice how to improve but just to point out the weakness... eventually no offer...

it really depends if you are lucky enough to have some experience teachers to teach your kids. If not, it's just a waste of money. Since this center is quite famous nowadays, it offers lots of classes. And they have to hire lots of teachers who may be inexperience.

我女今年塵埃落定，同身邊同校或吾同校的家長傾開，先發覺讀面試班的人原來吾少，有些仲係成年咁讀。我女無讀，因為我係ftm，我覺得自己教仲好，但坦白講，初期吾順，都有d覺得自己剛愎自用，可能害咗個女。

有無用好難講，有offers果d話有用，無果d話無用。其實影響有無offer的因素好多，小朋友禮貌、能力、學術水平、性情和父母教育，以致報學校策略、運氣等等...

市面上有很多相似的課程, Wise studio 只是包装好些及班數多,方便任意選擇時段。致於老師質數就碰運氣了。

It depends on how much time you can spend on your kids. I am working mum and have to take care 2 kids so I joined 6 months program and got a few good offers!
I like their teaching materials which saves my time to research interview questions from different schools. The parent talks are also useful and give my lots of important points during the whole process. Though my kid's teacher looks very young, she has good observation and gives me fair comments.
Frankly speaking, interview class is only part of the game and parents have to do their part - 身教 and a lot more.

Last year, I started in late Feb. suggest you to call the center to check if there is any change.
The summer one is too tight and I can't afford to bring the kids twice a week so I choose the one started from Spring

There is small amount of homework and the amount is reasonable. Homework is useful and you know what your kid learnt.

I joined the KT center and only knew a few students. Famous schools or not, really depends on how you view the schools.
My kid also comes from a KT KG with 學卷.
Famous school won't help you get the offer without parents effort.

Do manage your expectation and don't be too stressed coz kids are sensitive to pressure!! Give them more encouragement and support even they didn't perform.

The kid's capability is not judged by how many offers they have. Not all kids enjoy and play interview games well but they are really smart!!!

after one year, I found that it's a waste of money.

no heart. you never know what's happening inside. the homework is ridiculous too!!! A paper with a picture inside. No heading, no question, no hints......if your child can tell you how to do the homework, i think she's a smart girl already. No need to join such course

My child joined a half year course there (Feb-Aug 2013). Personally, I don't like the assigned teacher. Not smart, not experienced. I cannot comment whether the course is useful or not. But I am sure about one thing: the result chart posted in their centre has never been updated because no one has called us to ask about our P1 interview result. My friends said the same thing too.

There're always cases of both - children got many offers without interview class vs. - children got offers with interview class. I've known parents of both type, include myself.

No particular objection to attending such. Just don't totally rely on it, or superstitious about its effectiveness. Afterall, interview results don't just depend on interview performance......if a child is smart on his/her own, + parents' support, then he/she could do perfectly fine without it. If you think you lack the time to study how interviews are done, these may help you in knowing how. But still in the end, parents play a very critical role.

I am very regret to join the course for my daughter. Waste money and time but get nothing. Agree with one parent mention just raise your kid's weakness. No positive comment at all. If your kids are smart, they would like. If no, you just like transparent. Staffs of the centre (my one is KLN tong) is not so polite at all.

我有兩個朋友剛年讀左，各人有三四個 offer ，我朋友稱不是佢哋教得好，只係小朋友有一年練習面試時做乜，正式時咪食菜咁食，如面試時就是小朋友第一次面對，實乜都做唔出啦。

我小朋友現在k1,之前經過另一間補習社，多口問有冇小一面試班。負責人聽完好噩然，叫我不要太緊張，面試如果「操」返來會比人睇得出，佢話只需要幾個月嘅面試班，比小朋友接觸下D形式就ok,不用上足一年的面試班。

If I read this post earlier, sure I will not let my girl join! Right, the teacher just raise your kid's weakness but never teach your kid how to imporve or how to do. They are not training up your kids but just point out the bad things!!

我囝囝就係join左附近一間補習社辦的面試班，雖然不是Nice辦得那樣有規模，去晒酒店模擬面試，但我就buy老師有heart，每次也有寫小朋友有什麼地方有進步、仍需努力或家長配合的地方。

每次上完堂我就跟老師指示訓練囝囝，連老師都讚我勤力。上一堂是評估，沒有另外收費。我覺得阿囝上完，講野進步很多，有條理及常識識多好多。

好似今日有1part教睇月曆，教1年有多少日，12月有多少日，所伸延去教12月有聖誕節，紀念邊個生日，聖誕節有咩活動等等。是相關的知識。講完耶穌出世又介紹埋復活節，教得好生動，沒有要小朋友死記。係阿仔今日上完堂主動話我知今日學左咩。
