3) transition to local primary schools
which one is better?

I have the same offer as you. I think both schools can help your kid to build a strong english foundation. I think if you're aiming for local primary schools, York might giveyou a smoother transition ( just my impression, other parents please correct me if i'm wrong). I will pick Victoria because I'd like to try IB school for my girl and also I hear a lot of good comments that Victoria teachers are very caring, so I'd like to give it a try and see how my daughter likes it during this PN year.

Thanks for your reply. I've heard good comments from graduates' parents of both schools. It's difficult to make the decision.My experience at Arts plus playgroup is good, which encourages me to pick Victoria as I believe they share the same education approach.

The transition to local primary school is my only concern as I have heard that Victoria doesn't provide much primary school interview's support in K3 as they may expect you to be promoted to their own primary school VSA.

I am also attending Artsplus tst 3 days Playgroup, maybe we are classmates..hehe

not every Victoria centre support IB, only Ho Man Tin campus support IB at the moment (in Kowloon).

Incorrect.

Same IB approach practised at all campuses.

Campuses already accredited as IB World School are the following 3:

1. HOMANTIN

2. BELCHER'S

3. CAUSEWAY BAY

Please check Victoria's web site, majority of the graduates go to local schools.

sorry, may i know where you find out that Harbour Green campus has recently been accredited as IB school? I can't see any news on their website announcing that. Thanks!

My kid is studying at HG and it has been IB accredited. Just this has not been shown on the website yet. Right, most of the Vic graduates go to the local schools.

Yes, I couldn't find it on website either.

But don't worry about that, all Victoria campuses do follow the IB approach, getting officially accreditied is just a matter of time.
