不好意思，又問 ......
如果要我現在19M月大的囡 (SEP/2014入讀CREATIVE PN, 學術無期望, 淨係想佢開心) 準備 SEP/2015 入讀一間合適的KINDER, MAINLY FOR PASSING INTERVIEW (IF ANY !!!) OF ESF PRIMARY Y1, 想請問大家會點選擇 ?

- HILLSIDE ESF KINDER [ 我估讀番ESF KINDER, 英文程度可以更易入ESF P1 ?? ]
- 維記康怡 [ 聽說佢教得有板有眼, IS/LS 雙出路都OKAY ?? 同埋其上康／中康 K1 有咩分別 ? ]
- 杏花上書房 [ 純粹近我屋企，據聞K1 PM 有英普 NET, 估計讀晒 K1/K2 都可以勉強應付 EST P1 INTERVIEW ??]
- WOODLAND 堅道 [ K1/K2 讀 Montessoni，估應該夠 P1 INTERVIEW ... 但係怕ESF唔收，咁就谷住讀番 LS K3, 到時中文跟唔番就大鑊 ....... ]

當然，未來半年爸爸都會係日常生活中多D同囡囡讀英文, 希望雙得益彰.

Personally would not recommend Woodland/Montessori. It's a good school but not for local, unless you have certain privileges or connection so that a place in IS is secured. Again, I do think KCIS is good choice for you. In case of failing ESF interview, you can still stick to KCIS international stream.
For HK kids, it'd better to choose some academically strong kindergartens. So there is always a way out.

Just wondering. Why do you think Woodlands is not suitable for local kids (since you say it is a good school)?

yes, agree with victoryu19, KCIS is a good choice, but you need to apply ASAP.

Yes, for KCIS kindergarten, it is largely depends on the date of application, the earlier you apply, the higher the chance.

個人意見；維記未必係你杯茶。有人會buy佢bilingual/trilingual；考唔到IS可以轉番local school。

If you are interest in esf hillside, i would recommend woodland caine road but of course is not guaranteed. my son and some of his classmates got into esf hillside k1 in this coming Aug.

most of our classmates are able to get into other is school without connection. woodland caine rd is good school and the teacher trained the kids quite well. its really depends on what you are looking.

I was talking about getting into ESF primary…not ESF kindergarten. The Woodland I referred to is kindergarten…not nursery.
