我細女St. Paul 和 St. Cat 都有得in，仲諗緊去唔去St. Cat ，因聖潔靈我只想買個保險，我超想入st paul （大女讀緊中六），個女又唔係勁人，想當training面試先再去st Paul 面試，但都驚比st cat收咗我就一定後悔。唔好鬧我霸住個面試位，做亞媽都係為咗個女。1516中。

諗起上年阿女又係兩間都有得in,佢嘅首選都係st.paul,但當收到st.cat嘅面試信時佢反而更加開心，因為st.cat比st.paul面試機會難得啲，in次第150 n 250！同班同學有十個女仔都同時選呢兩間，十個都可in st.paul,但只得5個有份in st.cat,佢感覺自己冇優勝嘅地方能夠擠身於150人中，點知佢睇到名單上有自己名時，佢興奮到跳起，所以佢in st.paul時表現得更有信心！

According to the local university degree admission rates of St. Paul and St Catherine as follows, the academic standard of St Paul is surely higher than St. Catherine.
2012: St Paul: over 60% (around 65%)
St Catherine: about 40%
2013: St Paul : over 60%
St Catherine: around 60%
(according to their information released at their school information dates)
One should consider other factors, e.g. locations, learning atmosphere, etc. when choosing the school. Of course, the academic result is one of the vital factors.
I think that St Paul is more aggressive while St Catherine is too low portfile and conservative, e.g. not much information released and the school information date is held on weekdays every year, etc. . But studying in St Paul will be more competitive. If girls are really Band 1A, St Paul is a must.

很少聽到因為怕第二志願收了而不去面試.
況且都是區內數一數二的 B1 學校. 只是交通很不便!
如果一心只想入藍田聖保祿, 為何自行不只選藍田聖保祿呢?

It may be because one is not sure whether St Paul will offer the interview at the very beginning. If no interview chance for St Paul and the second option has not been filled, that means no chance in discretionary places. Besides, I have heard that some students do not attend the interview of the second option if the first option has offered the interview chance.
Besides, if my daughter is in Band 1a, I will choose St Paul or other schools at the same level of St Paul (outside Kwun Tong), which are more stable in academic result, more aggressive and with higher added value. :)

完全同意 !!! 其實升上中學, 許多小學精英會變成普通學生, 因為讀書考試方式與小學模式大大不同. 家長切忌心頭高!
升去到B1 A 後也未必KEEP 到是頭果浸 , 用不著那麼在意一定要去邊間邊間.......

聽說今年Lam Tin St. Paul有面試的機會似乎比往年大, 我囡的同學全級二十幾都有得面試. 少了學生真的這麼大影響嗎?

各位，其實我超想入st. Paul，係因為好近我家，由家出門口開始計時間，行15分鐘內已到達學校門口，不是因為st. Cat 比不上st. Paul，請不要誤會，交通真係比較煩及用多好多時間。st. Cat 只係買個保險。
