小女在英國讀緊Yr.8,
但很不適應,又俾人洽,
唸住今年九月可能回流,
請問選擇那一間國際學校較好呢?

嘩!英基淨係報名費都二仟,仲只經係waiting 和!
點算啊!
很徬徨!
請幫忙!

仲一個問題;
究竟返來是否對呢?
可否俾D意見呢?

問題唔係國際學校, 而係典解會被人"洽"? Yr8 先返嚟, 係唔係有其他原因?

咁少資料，咁重要決定，無得比意見。

You have missed the normal application dates for most IS now. There might still be seats at this time but they will be schools that are very unpopular.

I can feel how you are worried. Have you personally visited the school and how did you find the school's pastoral care? What's the percentage of boarders vs day girls? If boarders are just minority, not too good... And does your girl have no friend at all? How's her English and does she find difficulty communicating with locals schoolmates or even her house mistress?...... There are so many questions that you have to consider. It is quite impossible to rely on opinions you may get on this forum

依家申請ok.因為高班可能有位，而且回流有d有優先。不過esf已是最平，你可試RC,CAIs, DC, ,Kellett. 應該仲收申請的。唔適應唔奇，始終年紀細，如佢想返就俾佢返。

I think ESf has longer history and better IB result.

CAIS - Christian alliance
RC- renaissiance college
Kellett- kellett school

caIS and kellett test eng and maths where RC test eng for entrance screening

My daughter is very introvert and not soicalable.

Thank you for your elaboration.

The best way is to go to each school to have a tour and feel it. Btw, it's better to apply a few and decide later on when u get the offer. Some schools need a month to process your application. RC will have a school tour next week.

我以前係英國都比人洽，但係比HK人冾，成人喊都好想轉校，你女比香港人定鬼洽？但我而家同當年洽我既港人做好朋友，大家都承認以前好儍，好幼稚，而家人大左，經歷多左好珍惜大家，所以你可教佢忍耐，寬恕，了解佢地，因走返HK只是治標不治本既方法，將來會變得好內弱(sorry 吾識寫個個字)，教及她懂學惜處理人與人之間既關係才—生受用。鬼就好少洽人，思想單純。你女在那區就讀，睇下幫吾幫到你。

英國留學生活，所知不詳，難下定斷。然而yr8女孩，才十二三歲，能留在父母身邊教養，也是好的。
個人意見是ESF,蘇浙，兩者取其一，首選應是ESF,因為整體教育比較完備，資源互動亦豐盛。另一建議是有IB課程的直資中學如SPCC,真道等。

順便一提是海外回來的孩子，如果英語根基不深，入學考試亦有基本難度的，請認真注意。

p.s ESF的孩子十分friendly,未曾聽聞嚴重的欺凌事件。

ESF和其他較好的Is的waiting list 很長，在今天內有面試的機會不大。今年排隊，合理入學時間有機會是year 10，請作多方面準備。

家長偶然的陷阱是想「當然」，例如：
讀IS或海外留學孩子的英文一定很OK,結果是差過香港本地一線學生

強讀英普學校各一，結果中英並弱

以為讀中文本地學校的中文必定有保證，結果是水平不如IS內努力學好中文的學生。

總之是各修各法，沒有預計中的「當然」。
