Need help. Any comments on Clifton College as I heard a few negative comments? Another boy school accepted him to attend Sixth Form but he prefer to study in co-ed school. Thanks so much!

Clifton is a decent school but by no means top tier.
There aren't many boys' boarding schools left in the UK. Most of them rank higher than Clifton by some way so don't make any rash decision.

Do you have any comments on Bootham School and St. Peter's School? How about their academic standard and conduct of students? Grateful for your comments please.

Thanks for your reply, Peter Pan. I don't think my son could go to top tier. Sherborne Boy School accepted him but he prefer Clifton. Difficult to get the alignment.

Any other comments from this school, ie. Chinese %, a lot of misc expense? It's quite expensive for their school fee.

Appreciate your additional info in advance.

I don't have 1st hand experience of either school. On paper, St Peter's is probably better known in HK but academically I think Bootham is better. Bootham is a Quaker school so you may have to consider whether it clashes with your own religion.

I was wondering if your other choice was Sherborne Boys', as this is probably the only boys' school left with similar ranking to Clifton - almost all the others rank much higher. I'm afraid I don't have any inside knownlwdge of either school. Perhaps it'll be down to co-ed vs boys' and location.

I don't know enough about either school to give you an objective opinion. In my mind, these 2 schools are similar in ranking (I would place them at around the 200-250) & I don't have any preference.
